Hi XI Family, We have a new edition to the clan, a cute little chihuahua puppy! We inquired about him yesterday morning and picked him up in the evening, it all happened so fast we didn't get a chance to settle on a name for the little guy. We've narrowed it down to Fitz, Boden or Sparky but some more input would be appreciated. So please throw in any name suggestions or cast a vote on the three above names **UPDATE** We've gone with Sparky as it has a lot of votes between here and family. He's started to come out of his shell, more specifically he's running round like a loon playing with everything so we think sparky works well for this little one.

i'd like to start a convo about this server and ask for the admins to weigh in. It's not my server but i like playing on it and think if XI wants it to stay active than something should be done. I've been a regular user of this server for a good time, admins can feel free to verify that. I also know other players who have used this server for a long time, are regularly active in xi and do their best to play fair. Is there anything we can do about 2_many_beers ruining the server? he's clearly not an admin/mod, yet will repeatedly tell people to leave the server with accusations of cheating or whatever. If he can't get a player to leave the server he will do his best to convince other players to leave, leaving the server vacant. For the sake of having some good servers left, what can we do?

Cloning: Acronis is good for cloning, but Macrium Reflect is free, free updates and no hassle. Partition software: I always pick that up from: https://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ when it comes by. Normally once per year and have a spare disk with an OS ready at all time. Use Google for one which is free, but unfortunately not all function are there for you. Downside of Win10 or Win11 is, those small partitions you can't reach and destroy. For that, it is better to use the command 'clean' partitions with Diskpart under/using CMD(admin) 'DiskPart'. Be sure you don't use MBR* partitions, but GPT to install Windows. Use those BIOS settings recommended. When you buy and use a new drive, leave it be and just install. Other thing is what I do, is to clone your old OS and work on the cloned drive. That way you don't detroy the one that has f.e. System Restore active (enable that!) as those Restore Points are not there with cloning. See if the cloned drive is working, or just use the reset button to get in Save-mode(nr: 4) options by that restart. Let it find the drivers it needed or else download that from the vendor. (*You can use MBR, but only if you are sure of what you are doing. I hate using those BIOS settings and not using MBR)

Nothing to do with me anymore, and I suppose I shouldn't comment as I know all the history to both Beers and these servers, as when they were set up guess what??? yep only me Beers and a couple of others Madmonk, EC etc played on these for months to get them going. Beers is an awkward old sod as we all know, but the one thing I have never seen him do in 10 years of playing with him are the things described above, so A/. He has changed or B/. There is something to scream about. On these very servers when I myself was screaming hackers (and subsequently proved correct) NOT ONCE did Beers say anything, digest that before you 'investigate him', I'll put my next million with the dealer saying he's right, if he leaves watch these servers die.
