old server is in NY, new server is in chicago.

170 to 190 now, 140 to 150 yesterday, and 109 to 119 the day before. it kept getting worst. I have been playing in the old server today, no issues at all, ask @Ruggerxi he seen me in the old server with 98 to 101 ping

My ping on the new server is amazing. And I dont get kicked off as much as the old one. This morning I played on the old one using my wifi and once the server started filling up i was kicked off every 15 minutes. The new server i seem to ride pretty well. I still get kicked off but it takes quite a while.

@Dukoo What's your ping and how bad is your lag if you connect to this server ? This was the first C4x server we put that we started having hard hang issues with. This has the exact same code as the other one and if you don't have issues with this but the other one. Then the problem is the network not the servers. In fact, its a big clue to some people having weird pings.

If for whatever reason his ISP is routing his ( @Dukoo's) traffic through LA that would explain the lag only he's experiencing. @Icequeen might also have the same thing happening. Can you specify custom DNS server in your router? Try Google's 8.8.8.8 or Cloudfare's 1.1.1.1

Didn't you say last night that the traceroute to the new server showed a hop to LA?

no issues in this server, ping is fine, no lagg at all.

Every other game is fine, every other server i hop into is fine, exept the new XI server, i am not convinced at all.

I had to delete one of my maps because it was crashing my game. Can you delete this map from your local game folder? i ran thru this entire rotation last night to make sure no maps crashed the server. I found one and removed it.

Dukoo, now I am convinced it has nothing to do with the server. You said the very first time you connected to the mod your ping was great. I put the same binary. No fixes no nothing. The New York cod 4x server is also up. It's in free for all. You can try to going that one if you like. they're running both running the same code.

Delete the map files in your local folder and try joining again.

it's made even worst now. 177, looks like we getting higher with the day, all that coming from 89ping from the other server, just tried to play again but this lagg is frustrating the brains out of me, i had to quit playing.

That is correct, stutter starts with background processes but only on this mod. i tested the same thing on the other server, old server, and no issues there, no lagg, no high ping, no nothing. it's all causing issues on this new server

First off! Thank you BoomBoom for all the hard work you've been putting into this. Hoping you get some much deserved rest. Started off very stable this AM through a few quick rounds and not too many folks. So I'm sure not enough to push the mem. Got this. And could not join. Assuming it's a map I don't have but would not auto download as usual.
