As for me, I now still use the keyboard but with a wired mouse that has a couple of programmable buttons. Awards

It's not like humans are some super sensitive gamer that could really tell a difference. I have used both and never noticed a difference with my level of play. Right now I use a Microsoft Sidewinder, wired. Just get a gaming mouse with the optional controls that you want and feels comfortable in your hand. I would not sweat wired or wireless, just get whichever one you like best based on comfort and functionality.
