Map XI:Titanic

I attempted to DL the map XI Titanic this morning and each time I tried, I got thrown into some sort of loop. It wouldn't DL for me and would just start over after getting to the part where the DL bar is visible. Once the process got to that point, it (the screen) would kind of skip from one attempted DL of the map to the next. Then it would start over. I'm gonna attempt the Downloader and maybe that will fix it.

 

(10 minutes later...)

 

Ok. That didn't fix it. Am I the only one that's having this problem?

 

Let me try to break it down a little bit further:

Upon double clicking the server, I get taken to a screen that says SETTING UP GAME... After a few flashes of the little dots (periods), I get taken to the DL progress screen that has a DL bar on it. The info pops up but only for a second or so before switching to ANOTHER DL file but quickly jumps to yet ANOTHER DL but quickly jumps to a REDIRECT file and then the screen goes black (save for the arrow cursor which is freely moveable BTW). Then the whole process starts anew. Help!

Same just happened to me m8, had to disconnect, i see plenty in the  server though, now i will have to go delete the map and all the IWD files.

Well it has happened with another map. The map called mp_powcamp_n does it as well except I don't go thru all the prior DL attempts before the redirect attempt.

Had the same problem...had to download the "XI Downloader"....after it's installed run "HouseKeeping" option,  make sure it delete's all the maps and IWD files (check your 'usermaps' file in cod5 file on your hard drive)...then re-install all new maps...should be good to go then...hope that helps!

It has been an issue with our redirect - the DNS settings were no longer pointing to the correct server. This has since been resolved and as soon as your local DNS server updates it will function normally.

lol another ship map lol needs to be takin out of rotation anyways it sucks you not missing anything

come on this was made my an xi member and as such should always be in one of the rotation ............

All this happened cause the main redirect was down and you guys didn't already have the maps so you had to down load them which it didn't work.
