Does anyone have an idea that can help me? This just started happening. I get this pop up error on my screen which i have no choice to click yes or no and my games crash after i do so.

Rolling it back didn't help, tried that this morning got the error this afternoon.

 

I Think I will try and do that uninstall then restart and then install new and see what happens.

Do u use Geforce eXperience? try to uninstall all nVidia files and reinstall gforce experience and driver

when installing new drive go to the advanced section or custom i forget which and pick clean install that removes your old nvidia driver first before it installs the new one

It's custom and there is a little box that you have to check for clean install.

Ive never had an issue until the last couple months with the recent updates so i downloaded an older release version from October and installed that. Fingers crossed that this works. Thanks for the advise everyone. If it doesnt work out, i will post it here and see if we can brain storm once again..

Nvidia has a nasty habit of having a problem with that, did it on my laptop all the time what Wildbill said is exactly the right thing

the max temp on my ATI card hits 138 F. not boiling!

that error is pointing to power issues or driver ,  check all power connections  while your there in case  clean out all fans  but hold them from spinning when blowing air

I'm not getting that error anymore but since last night every once in a while my screen flashes like its installing a vid driver or something. Goes black for a couple seconds and then back to desktop

when it goes black and then comes back that means the video drive crashed and the restarted,try a different driver.,plus when you install new driver don't install the hd audio driver and do a clean install.
