@duc has mentioned that they are going to accept only demos in the future with this: http://www.xtremeidiots.com/topic/53196-c-developer-small-project/

I agree with @@Blaze. PM's being delivered to personal email really is all most admins need. Both @@SupaDupa and I go that rout and it works fine. Email is easily accessible everywhere we go. (smart phone)

The last thing I need is some obnoxious chat every time somebody wants to "!fu" me.

How about Raptr http://raptr.com/ ? Works with a host of games, and very stable.

Raptr does everything that X-Fire does and ALOT more and Better Quality.

We will have to see if the Raptr X-Fire plug in still works after Friday. It might work because it uses a Streaming plug in to directly connect instead of going through X-Fire servers.

Everyone should check out Raptr it works for ALL CPU/GPU combos not just AMD.It also has The Best video capture that I have used yet and has the ability to Live stream VIA Twitch.

Just tried evolve for game recording and it didn't affect my fps enough to worry. Set to high quality, 30 seconds (ish) was around 200MB.

Test video will be here once uploaded (9 minutes apparently).

Use Raptr once.

30 seconds on 1080p or higher will be around 35mb

Oh Raptr X-Fire plug in still works fine so far.

Video looks good! And we not need 4k videos of hackers with a simple video at around 480P Is enough to see if someone is hacking.. Well in most cases Evolve seems like the best replacement.. Skype and IRC.. not so much..

Actually, I only tried this because raptr was not working for cod4. I have now found a solution though.

There is a little app that helps you put your games in windowed borderless mode and it works really well. Raptr now records COD4 happily and better quality than evolve. Better yet it has the replay function so you don't need to record the whole damn thing.

This is sad... hate to see it go. What a great tool it has been.

I used to hate on it when MTV owned it. That is when it kept changing and changing.

For the admins we are losing an important tool to record video of potential hackers.  We're going to need some kind of alternative.

that not problem in cod4 we can record by using console command....i take it that cod2 and 5 doesnt?....

The problem with the buitl in game recording is making sure the mods match. Also, in the past we had problems with it not looking the same on different computers. It isn't as reliable as a screen capture direct from the graphics card IMO.

Raptr works excellently for this....I'll post a video today to show.

You can live stream or in private with OBS too, but recordings are something else to talk about. Would be nice to have it all under one hood though.

Quality settings maxed out at 1920X1080 recorded using Raptr replay. If something spectacular happens, you hit ctrl+/ and it saves the last predetermined amount of time.

You are discounting the need for a chat service that lets players contact admins to alert them to hackers and assholes in the servers.  If you have a high volume of "!fu" chat interruptions, well, that sounds like a personal problem to me
