As far as I am aware, it records the game information such as player locations and movements and key presses. The replay is a rerun based on the recorded game information relayed between players so the game knows where everyone is and what they are doing, rather than a visual record of what the graphics card is putting on the monitor. It is not to be compared with the game's /record command. Raptr has its member registration service and you can use it for msging just the way you use Xfire. We are advocating its use because of its versatility. In an ideal world XI would have its own Messaging service linked in with your on-website account. Offering an overlay structure that doesnt' trigger false detects by PunkBuster or other anit-hack software. Maintaining such a software would require significant effort and time. The most expedient option is to explore existing solutions that let us do what we want from such a service. A reliable means to communicate with other members in-game.
