I dont see anything wrong if you like it and it means something special then one should be allowed. I think it's cool that it represents your grandmother. i was checkin out symbols for inside left and right forearms, strength, compassion, patience and wisdom. They would be a reminder of what i need to remember. After my separation then divorce, i learned a lot about myself and it wasn't all good. It's kinda funny because now i am the one who is on the other end of the stick, trying to be all those things, those things were the epitome of my ex wife. A friend recently told me that you'll never regret a tattoo that has meaning for you. I've designed my forthcoming first ink and met with the artist that I've chosen 2 days ago.
