@YACCsterThanks for the inquiry. If I can make it, it will be a shorter notice and I'll hotel it or if there's a room to share later, maybe that. I've been reluctant to post this, but some of you will recall my wife Debbie was just recovering from a lung cancer surgery at the XI Fest at Niagra Falls in 2017. And you all surprised her with a birthday cake at the XI Fest in Carolina! She was cancer free for four years, but unfortunately returned this past October in the way of a metastasized tumor in her head and one in her lung again. After radiation, we are happy to say both have reduced in size and they say there is currently no active cancer. Also good, no chemo. So it's been slow recovery, getting her energy back, but still requires oxygen. She has told me to go meet you all without her, but too many unknowns until then. More testing in early June, so we'll see. Nice find @Ruggerxi! It looks like a great place to par-tay!

To clarify the initial post here was to determine who was interested in coming, responding here does not guarantee or hold a room. We are still waiting on some info from the property manager. Once we announce the final cost and how to pay for the room the accepted payment will solidify your spot. You’ll get a choice of the available rooms in the order payment was received.

if you read the reviews it seems like it is pretty far from anything fun and all resteraunts, and we dont want to be there if there is a lot of rain recently.

The restaurants are about 15-20 minutes away. There's a great patio for grilling, which we'll probably do at least once. The fun is the house itself, gameroom with bar and pool table, outdoor pool and hot tub, large property, on the water. The XI Fests of late have had more people choosing to do things right at the house rather than doing more of the tourist type stuff.  I'm sure we'll plan some activities as well, but nothing in the works just yet. We are looking into boat rentals since we have a dock.

Some additional rooms (5) have been made available in a cottage adjacent to the main house.  They are a bit more economically priced as well.

Main house room: $575

Cottage room: $415

Each of these is a total price of a room for the 3 days.

Saturday at or around 12:00pm, noon, Eastern Daylight time we will send a pm to everyone who has registered interest here or otherwise with us directly about getting a room. In the pm will be a PayPal address to which you can submit payment. After receiving proper payment a message will be sent back to you with instructions on how to pick a room out of the ones still available. This will be sent out in the order of payments received, earliest payment gets earliest choice of room.

Well, after much thought and planning, @Gatorgirland I will be attending. Realizing that the house has the appropriate name and safe word in place.. And knowing that @Roxy! And @WldPenguinwould need some supervision, I just knew it was the right thing to do... And yes, we will be bringing pool toys.. Let the party begin..

Hi Yacc.

As to the cottages.. are they all 1 floor only? I have to consider that when looking at rooms, as we do not want to have to deal with a lot of stairs..

For the "Cottage" It's a single building with the 5 rooms in it, 2 floors and most of the rooms are on the first floor.  Also if you look at some of the details of the main house it has an elevator as well, if that makes any difference and I have no further specifics on that.
