The Hitboxes are smaller, no making headshots from the hip while on the move like some other games... The recoil is higher so Hitting the target in full auto takes some practice. Just like in reality that you must use short bursts otherwise your gun is sky high. It's the most realistic FPS I have ever played and playing there against those in Closed Beta is a challenge because there are not too many Noobs. For once this is a game that's not designed for Children.

What's rare playing cod or getting hammered?

This is Bowes Museum in Durham County where i live in the UK, top picture was yesterday 26th March, bottom picture was Wednesday 22 March, people were on beaches yesterday sunbathing lol.

My wife tried to play CoD but gave up after a few minutes she felt sick. Sometimes she listens to the in-game conversations and said it would give her headache. Listening to me gives her enough headache. She will keep practicing but will turn the volume down especially when Zombiefart is on LOL :-)

And there is no stupid spawning miles behind the enemy to take objectives, you can either spawn on one of possibly 2 areas or on your Squad leader, if the defending side loses an area they are usually pushed back to next defensive line, Armies attack and defend as whole entities, no rogue soldiers at the other end of the map (it's not Rambo) taking flags and sniping you in the back, because of the amount of serious players in Red Orchestra/Rising Storm games players are usually expected to follow orders from their Commanders...Squad Leaders try to get into good positions without exposing themselves so the other Squad members can continue spawning on them, they send info and mark targets for Commanders to drop artillery on the enemy, so it's probably best to let the most experienced and serious players take charge because they give you some shit if you are not doing your job....this game would be perfect for Wildthing lol.

Why would the graphics be on low? so you only play games that look pretty no matter how much of a pile of crap they turn out to be like BF1? i know what i prefer, Red Orchestra and Rising Storm 1 are still filling servers after 6 years because they don't play like a turd, sometimes it's nice to play a more serious shooter rather than games that are more suited for kids on Xboxes.

The game was completely finished during the week for anyone who has it. It's no longer in early access for years like most games do be these days, they actually stuck to their promise and delivered. The game since release has been updated on nearly everything. The player base has almost quadrupled this weekend The graphics on all maps are better than they were before. They have a new ranking system and factions able to unlock through the game rank system. Everything has changed altogether from the menu to the ranking system/maps/factions and much more. I only began back playing it yesterday and was surprised altogether to the recent changes. It's definitely something I wasn't expecting. Yeah I was quite surprised by the game to be honest. I hadn't played it properly in months and wasn't expecting the game to be that much different but nearly everything got updated and revamped. Now that they have a new ranking system and unlocks to work towards I can see a more steady player base playing as they now have something to achieve in the game unlike with Insurgency where it had no ranking system or unlocks

Gotta admit it does look better, i am on Salerno map now, looks bigger and nicer, all rough edges have gone, took them long enough though just hope they ain't lost their public lol, just played again on Foy map, that's a new one from last time, not bad.

@Hunter the online users box and the birthdays are on the right hand side of the forums (was running out of space on the home page). There are no longer 'friends' and they are now 'followers' as its gone a bit social media style but I will take a look and see if it's possible. @cpl-chPetz Thanks

There is another closed Beta starting April 3rd i was told Markoff then open Beta end of April then game will be out in May fingers crossed, not as pretty as Battlefield but so realistic compared to that pile of shit.

Hey Duc, It would be my suggestion at this point to either turn off, or perform a global update on all accounts to turn off email notifications for forum activity. I'm getting nude pictures in my email via post activity in the Turn The Other Cheek forum. This isn't really a problem for me personally, but I think it could be for others. Just because they are following a forum doesn't mean they want to get email notifications every time someone posts there, and they never were before, so why now(?), if you see what I mean.

The first stage of the upgrade is now completed. You can expect aspects of the website not to work exactly right yet as there is still a fair amount to do. Some posts will not look right until the background processes have completed rebuilding everything. If something is majorly broken then post here. If you see a missing feature wait a week and if it doesn't appear then post here.
