Hello dear friends of COD4-ftag and all the other games! Now it's time to sign in this community. I played a very long time the Freezetag-Mod on this server. In former times i was logged in as "Ans". I'm 48 years old, grown up with Doom, Duke Nukem, Settler, Warcraft I,II and III, Starcraft, Half life 2, Crysis, Wolfenstein and all COD-Shooters from the beginning until Black Ops. I had a lot of fun by playing freeztag. I personally think, that's the best Mod ever. So let's meet on this Server! Greetz from Germany, Andreas (Roody)

Change 'lawmakers' to 'lawmaker'. There is always going to be one that tries to introduce something that might make a few in his/her base feel good but doesnt actually go anywhere because everyone else knows it wouldnt survive basic challenges. Say if someone tried to ban Islam through some piece of legislation... which some have tried. A great many consider it to be a violent religion but religious freedom is a basic right in this country. Its a line that nobody wants to cross. Well except those idiots that want to simply ban religion entirely. However if they banned Scientology I dont think anyone would miss it. That said, there are countries that can require that certain content be taken out of a game, if the developer wants to be able to sell it, based on its own laws. Germany is a good example. However they are usually only minor things and a violent game is still a violent game. And of course CoD had its infamous 'No Russian" level. Playing CoD5 didnt make me want to kill Germans and Japanese. It didnt make me want to kill zombies either. If I ever saw a zombie I would already have wanted to shoot it in the head. Twice. Always remember rule #2 when in zombieland.

check CPU cooling fan and get some thermal paste to refresh heatsink mount also update motherboard drivers Note: never spin cooling fans with canned air, if do say goodbye to a working system for fan becomes a generator an will produce over 50volts when MB is 12volt, if like to spin them just remove fan power connection to MB or hold fan from spinning

I forgot how damn hard Bombing Run can be.

For some, at least those that care about such things, it also goes to reputation. They dont have to support an old game with updates or patches and such. Nor any new anti-cheat measures. That by itself isnt exactly cheap. And here we have UT2K4 back. Going on 17 years old but Epic keeps the activation/master servers going anyway since UT has always been its prestige title in the companies history. Their state-of-the-art game engine is Unreal after all. Wouldnt make sense to stop spending a tiny amount of money, in a company that earns several billion a year, to shut its namesake off. Its not as though anyone actually buys the game anymore either. Steam still sells CoD4. Dunno about 5 but the writing has always been on the wall for 4 and the thought is that their shutdown of the master server was an attempt to kill the game that backfired. Maybe in that particular case its because there is already a community run master server that would take its place if they did so. Albeit with an unofficial patch. Would make for an interesting story in the gaming press (or more so in social media) if the big bad corporation shut it down, over money, but players kept it going anyway on their own. Might suggest that for newer titles they really arent needed as much as they say they are.

Being asked to be the "Head Admin" for any Game Platform run by XI comes from the top and was not something I asked for, rather it was something I was asked to do because I catch Hackers and Banned Players who return with zero bans overturned. So GO FUCK YOURSELF AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT WHAT I POST.

From what I can gather, people know about the issue as its effecting all COD 5 servers but, clearly they no longer want to support this and are hoping we just move to another platform. Sad really as there is a huge COD 5 following. Wish they would address this or have the balls to acknowledge and say what their intentions are on way or another?
