Hello y'all. Today i finally got my hard copies for my orders of my next step in the Navy. I will be leaving Norfolk, VA March 30th and heading to Lemoore, CA for some Jet Squadron fun. With being in Pacific Time zone and probably different work hours, I don't know how much i will be able to play when i get there.

The lead singer of the band Monster Truck borrowed one of my guitars about a year ago to do some recording, he loved the tone of the P90 pick ups. Well it was down at their jamspace so he got all the boys to sign it for me!!!

So this is my second day home right now and I'm totally and utterly amazed by how well my recovery is going. I feel like myself again and I do still get pain meds for the surgery wound, but most of the things in the house I can do by myself by now. I can take walks outside of 5 minutes with my dad. I've got a lot of energy. And now the eating has started and what was supposedly gonna be difficult, is also going really well. Already my body seems to be able to handle many kinds of food. I do have to make sure that I eat my food very slowly and often, which means that a big chunk of my day I'm eating. If I get distracted by talking and eat quicker, I feel sick 15 minutes later. But that's just dizzy and tired and it's gone in 30 minutes. Already I ate 700 calories today and 45 grams protein (I need 90 after surgery) and my nightly fluid food (gavage?) adds another 1200 calories and half of proteins I need. It is gonna take me some time to find a rhythm in eating, so I won't need the extra help anymore, on average 2-3 months. But let's see what it's gonna be for me. I'm just amazed. It was such a big surgery and now I already feel like myself again. Don't understand how it's possible, but VERY happy with it.

Dear Members, I want to start by saying thanks to those who have been here and know me and how I am. I am going through a really hard time right now because I gt hurt at work and they are trying to claim that my diabetes is the reason for my condition. The pictures I am about to share are what has happen to me and I am trying to heal. Monday I have to talk to a lawyer in hopes that they can help me. This just happened last week and I want to thank those so far for the support it is hard wanting to fight but I feel that all my life that is all I have done. I do not give up but this may break that. This is serious for me and is affecting me very emotionally. I have always try to do what is right and to be a good example to those that have worked under me.

Nope! Not any additional treatment ? (As far as I know now). One of the reasons for the check ups. So it's actually a lot easier for me than for people diagnosed with same kind of stomach cancer in the regular way. They do need chemo and a heavy kind. They are checking my stomach now though, cutting it all up and checking each little bit. It takes the pathologist three full days of work to study it all. I should get those results in a week or two. Expectation is that there might be more cancer cells in other places in the stomach, but all stage 1, very small, and not yet grown through the side of the stomach. In that case not dangerous, and no additional treatment necessary!

No clue about that. I do know that if I ever want children, there's the possibility to use IVF and check which eggs or combinations have the bad gene and which don't and use the good ones. There are a few genetic illnesses in the Netherlands with which that is allowed and mine is one of them. Not sure if I would feel okay about that, but it's an option.

I love to see that !!! I just built a copy of the Gibson Corvus model and installed a Fishman pickup in it. Those pickups are different. Not a traditional copper wound pickup. Very high gain. More gain than EMG 81's !! But also have a nice clean tone also when the volume is dialed back. I put a Fender Tele style neck on it. Love the neck. So its a Fender Gibson inspired hybrid !! I planning on buying a CNC router to do my own necks and too speed up body fabrication. Laid everything out by hand on this one and used power hand tools. Took a while. But the results are outstanding. As far as other weird guitars. I never owned a Dean Guitar and came across this Dean, Michael Shenker Strangers in the Night model years ago. These I believe came out in 2012 ? The bridge pickup on this model is the "Lights Out" pickup. Very nice passive pickup. I've played it handful of times (still minty fresh). It mostly hangs on the wall ? Not an expensive guitar by any means. But it is extremely well made and plays great.

Crispr is a gene editing technology, too. It can edit a defective gene to cure the illness it causes. It's in nascent stages, but they've cured diseases with it in studies. In the not-too distant future, many inherited illnesses will be repaired, dare I say eliminated. Speedy recovery!

Actually, my laptop is getting repaired right now, but otherwise I might have joined already in a game or two. The doctors want me to sit instead of lay down for as much as possible and I would be able to do that for an hour or more by now. My recovery is going crazy fast

It will work just fine. Don't install Punkbuster, you don't need it. I am guessing you will be installing via Steam? I have it installed on a Surface Pro 7 with Windows 11. Performance is terrible but it works - no probs.

ouch wild that sucks... hang in there. my father has lost a few toes due to diabetes and its no joking matter. its even worst when they are messing with your head knowing it was work related. dont give up the fight man...talk to those fuckers as if they were playing freezetag!!!

Sorry to hear about your dilelmma. you might try ground flaxseed 2 tbls a day mix with oatmeal.f or simailar food. went from 135 blood gulcose to 105 in about 6 weeks. our thoughts to you.

Holy hell @wildthing Get your butt feeling better ok? ? That doesn't look anything like a Diabetic Foot ulcer. I'm no doctor but it looks like a truck ran your foot over. One of my buddies had a fork truck run over his foot years ago and they had to amputate most of his foot. Atleast you will have more time to play COD4 eh? Take care and hope you heal up fast.
