Results of a ping on your server. 2. Results of a traceroute (preferably done with MTR) from your local host to your server. 3. Results of a traceroute (preferably done with MTR) from your server to your local host. 4. Results of your server downloading the following file: proof.ovh.ca/files/1Gio.dat (preferably using the wget -4 -O /dev/null proof.ovh.ca/files/1Gio.dat) command. Send us all the results via screenshots, copy / paste or from an upload website and we'll be able to investigate the matter with you. Just get the screen shots and I will get them to them. You can use their programs they suggest or use your own way. I have been having high pings occasionally but only had it twice whilst other people have apparently been getting it continuously or have been getting things like everybody on the server not being able to do anything for a solid 2 minutes or so. The IP address for the bottleneck starts with 198.27.73 which is in Montreal. I ran a tracert from HLSW and you can see it on the ping graph. Joe Canadian made a post yesterday with similar problems. He is having issues with the same server, only it appears that his route is being sent to an IP address in Paris before it gets to the server in Montreal. Kind of a messed up way of doing things. The issues are in Chicago not Canada (Definitely not France.. don't believe the country code on that IP) and yes it is a bad hop for the players on the west coast. Although Rugger has asked for all of that nice complicated stuff all we really need is a screenshot of your tracerts to either fosters.xtre.co.uk and/or budweiser.xtre.co.uk as this will display to the host the bad hop.
