6. Why do you think you were banned?:

   I had seen alot of trolling and trash talk going on for awhile, so I trollingly said a couple racial slurs thinking this was acceptable. Sorry if this offended anyone. Thats the only reason I can think I may have been banned for, and these actions will not be repeated. thank you

Hi,

As you mentioned, you have been temp banned for racial slurs in-game. This is not acceptable in our servers.

However, we decided we will lift your ban on two conditions:

• NO more racial slurs in the future (I don't care if you think you're funny or trolling) because that will lead to a permanent ban with no right of appeal
• You'll have to change your name (you know which part) for us to allow you back in the servers

XI does not allow racist remarks.

Use of any racially derogatory language, or, a player with a name which may be viewed as racially derogatory, is an automatic ban on our servers with no warning or kick. It is not possible to define specific phrases nor will we attempt to do so here - you must use your own judgment as to whether something spoken or written on our servers is racially motivated, or intended to disparage by race in any way.

 

This rule also includes ethnic slurs or slangs when used as a personal attack.

All I can say is "Wow your damn lucky."  We usually Perma Ban for racial slurrs.  No warnings and no appeal.  Very rarely are this type of ban overturned and can only be done so by a Head Admin or Senior admin. @Daemon must really like you or something, to give you a chance to redeem yourself, don't fuck up again or your out of here permanently.

Different game and different exceptions when it comes to bans.

We have had over 700,000 players on INS about 5x times that compared to COD

We know about ours bans , we have over 900 bans or so and 2958 blocked players.

Please keep that in mind in the future

OK, all credit for showing it but read it back again mate, could have been phrased better?, the way it reads to me is :-

Insurgency has its own rules outside of XI norms

Insurgency has more players and therefore should come first

But the arrogance really comes when telling another admin to 'bear in mind in the future' that your rules aren't ours, again - wow

Different game and different admin aproaches

COD admins have their own procudure when it comes to their bans

Why should it apply to INS or any other game XI host?

If it works then it works, at the end of the day why would the INS crowd play COD ? And why would the COD players play INS ?

Good point, never thought of that, it annoys me too when people who never play the game interfere, but I read it in a general sense, forgot it was specific

Guys, this was originally a 6 day ban over a single use of one word.

Most of our bans go like that. Repeated offenders get the perm, we like to give 1 last chance to people that haven't caused many problems before.  I can't see what all this fuss is about.

It should have been a perm ban since it was a racial slur. Its doesn't matter what game you are on or what admin is looking into it. The fact that you are lashing out to other admins and members is bullshit in its won. I have been on the int servers and ther are a lot of racial slurs thrown around and those players need to be banned no questions asked.

sorry guys but this is how this works

if a player is banned on our servers for racist comments and is banned 

appeal coming in you admins discuss what to do then its passed to senior vote to either lift or keep the ban

So cheesy you are now banned until senior discuss this

I remeber a couple months ago a scandal you guys made because someone from other game banned a player in COD5 and everyone was throwing tantrums.

WOW! I'll chime in on that note...

Yes Chips. You are right. We had a guy use a racial slur trying to be a hip young'n. Was not aware of our policy as most people just blow by the loading page. I did the banning because he used the word. Typed it in chat. The head admins ruled for him to be unbanned. That's the way it goes. That's why they don't get paid the big bucks and neither do we.

The heads make the decisions. Barron3000 is a head admin of INS.. He runs that server and makes the decisions pertaining to it.

I am good with it. Don't play there.
