I'm not old, had my 1st shot already though ;) I'm a carer for my vulnerable mum though so I guess I jumped the queue a bit.

Had the Oxford AstraZeneca on a Tuesday, same sore arm and stuff. Woke up the Wednesday feeling generally out of sorts, groggy and often experiencing chills. Pain in the arm had gotten worse. Thursday I was feeling better but the arm was still very painful, this continued trough the days and then on the Sunday my fiancé (@SgT.Chris) noticed a small rash on my arm. On closer inspection the injection site was also pretty swollen. Was going to ring the GP on the following Tuesday but I woke up that day and it had all gone, the rash, the swelling, the pain, just poof.

In retrospect it's possible it was a mild allergic reaction, I'll bring it up when I got for my second shot which for some reason isn't scheduled till May despite the recommendation being 3 weeks.

This is meaty, but you asked : http://enformtk.u-aizu.ac.jp/howard/gcep_dr_vanessa_schmidt_krueger/

"The problem that BioNTech had is that in the clinical phase the product, i.e. the RNA, was produced with completely different techniques to how it is being produced now. During the clinical phase they only needed small volumes of vaccine, they were able to use very expensive techniques that delivered highly purified end products. Now that they have entered mass production, that is no longer possible, they have had to switch to lower-cost processes, e.g. using huge quantities of DNA that functions as the substrate to be able to produce the RNA in an in-vitro transcription reaction."

So – the integrity of the RNA means of course the RNA quality. They have found that this is not very high: it was higher for the processes during the clinical phase. In this report they don’t say how high it is, but I have other information that says 78% of the RNA was good [translator: this refers to the integrity], the remainder was not, but now they have found new batches with only 55% RNA integrity, i.e., half of it is basically unviable."

I can't speak to the veracity of her claims, well above my pay grade. Reiner Fuellmich is German/American lawyer preparing lawsuits in America, Canada and elsewhere due to the mishandling of the coronavirus response.

Without having read the text, I can confidently conclude that the 'likers' of the post are a solid indictment of its substance!  =D

It likewise is free for people who would otherwise pay cash, as part of the Covid Relief package.  Nanner.

Got my first Moderna shot this week, had Covid in July 2020. My nurse said if you had covid, its the first shot that is the worst, which is contrary to all I'd heard. My wife and eldest kid are complaining about their arms, mine stung a bit first day, but that was it. Good to go. May keel over on the 2nd, but we'll see. Glad to see many of you are doing the right thing. This vaccine is the quickest way to get out of this. Be well!

You've got to learn to read the fine print. It was right there on the syringe: DO NOT take this vaccine if, before your birth, either parent had unprotected sex with an employee of a Chinese meat market or was ever bitten by a bat. If your dick or nutsack shrivels up and falls off it is recommended you do not take the followup shot.

After my 2nd Moderna shot on Wednesday I went to bed with a sore arm and a little headache, then I woke up on Thursday and felt like Phuckitmans turds. The headache I had was the worst I have ever had, every joint in my body hurt. I can't remember a time that I have ever felt so bad, even my worst hangovers didn't feel this bad.

I went back to sleep at around 7am slept all day till 4pm, woke up and felt 95% better just a little lingering headache. I had dinner then watched a show, went back to bed and woke up this morning 100%. I sure hope these scientists know what they're putting in my body!

Glad you're feel better.. The shot scares me ..

All I know is when you take some humans and inject fear and greed, the chances of something going wrong skyrocket. To me the individual needs to weigh up their own risk associated with contracting coronavirus and decide if the vaccine is a good idea for them. Telling a perfectly healthy 20 year old that has a minuscule risk to take any of the vaccines that from certain perspectives appear to have been rushed to market seems shortsighted. Iatrogenesis is real, there is no reason to risk potential life long complications if your risk is very low. On the other hand if you are an 80 year old diabetic heart disease patient it's probably a worthwhile risk.
