When you got it, flaunt it!
baldie and 12 others reacted to HarryWeezer for a topic
XI is just shy of 700 tagged members but have you noticed how many gamers have registered at our web site? It's more than 11,000 and in that respect - and absent any challenge - we are the largest gaming clan in the world. And we ought to say so somewhere on the home page, don't you think?13 points -

My dad had what they call a Silent heart attack Thursday evening. He thought it was just heartburn from the BBQ chips he ate but he was really weak and pale Friday morning. Barely enough strength to stand up. I knew something wasn't rite so I called 911 because he had double bypass surgery almost 15 years ago and he is type 2 diabetic. They put him on there monitor and confirmed what I thought was going on. (clogged up again with lower than normal heart rate) They gave him Nitro and he stabilized and they called for a Life Flight up to the hospitals Cardiac facility which is about 1 1/2 hours away with all of the stop lights and crap and up over the mountain to Johnstown by car. Or a quick 10-15 minute ride in a chopper. He had 1 badly clogged artery so they ballooned him open and it worked but his heart rhythm was off slightly. They want to install a pace maker just to be sure. He had a fever yesterday and doc didn't want to take the chance. His fever let up last night and they were supposed to install his "upgrade" today. I just got off of the phone with them and they are adjusting some of his meds and setting up physical therapy and a strict diet plan and having a little "talk" with dads regular local doctor. His regular doctor had prescribed Lopressor to him for some reason. Lopressor lowers your blood pressure which is not something that you want to give to a person that had problems with clogged arteries. It actually might have contributed to his heart attack but the Doc said that it would of happened anyway and it might have actually been alot worse. So if everything goes ok over the next day or 2 he should be home soon. We're expecting a call from them this evening with an update. I won't be on much until we hopefully get him back home. And even then it's going to be a while untill I'm back on any normal gaming schedule. I can't sleep but I'm to tired to do anything other than a bunch of crap around the house that needs done and lots of cleaning. Sleep schedule is when ever I can get some. I'm only getting 2-3 hours of sleep at night after I lay there tossing around till 3am or later and waking back up at 6-6:30am.2 points

It's a great thing! Something I was wondering the other day, as I was perusing the registered user list, was all the numeric-named registered users....there are a shit ton of them?2 points

This is an interview with the father of Evan Thomas: http://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1207912515858/ The driver blew through a stop sign and the bus hit the truck ripping away the entire front of the bus. He was given 2 weeks training and was driving for 2 weeks when the accident occurred. He said the sun was in his eyes and he could not see the stop sign. Evan Thomas's father called bullshit on it in that interview. This is the story of the company: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgary/calgary-humboldt-trucking-company-1.46135941 point

I think so...I haven't been amazed by ANYTHING in a long time....its really hard to describe. I have a vr desktop program where you can pull windows off and place them around your environment like Tony Stark...lol...right now its not perfect but as resolution gets better, it will.... There is a game called robo recall where helpful robots go bad and you need to "recall" them....well the first time one jumped on me I almost had heart failure....find a friend who has one and try it...that's what happened to me...you'll get one...1 point

Better PUBG?

Played one round real quick and found that it was very stable, no bugs that I saw. But, not a fan of the graphics and the sounds in game. Almost exactly the same in controls, items, graphics design, just more cartoony and bad color palettes. Def. worth a try though....won my first round playing with 2 kills...lol1 point -

Update: We just got back from picking him up. He's back home. Very sore and grumpy. They installed his pace maker yesterday morning. He has a crap pile of doctors appointments that he has to go to over the next 4-6 weeks for therapy and checkups but he's walking around ok. Understandably Slow but ok.1 point
