@Snitz - while a friendly trash talk is acceptable form of having fun in the servers. Disrespecting or ignoring admins will have serious consequences. In future please do pay attention to the admins. Often times a supposedly friendly exchange turns in to a heated exchange and admins keep an eye out to discourage a hostile environment it spoils the fun for everyone.

A word of advice, forget the bean bag rounds. If you feel you need to use a gun it should be a lethal situation. Nobody wants to shoot someone, but no one wants to be beaten or killed by an intruder. Anyone that breaks into your home has already shown a disregard for you and your family's life.

You need to understand your laws where you live and how they apply to home defence in your state... Also 20 gauge is all you need. With right choke and shells its plenty of gun for home use... Go to a good local dealer and try to shoot everything your looking at so you can get use to it...And remember one thing.. You don't pull a gun unless you are going to use it and understand the taking of a life... Also always make sure whats behind your target.... Good luck and please be safe....

you know i appreciate the ban lift but i didnt say yes when u asked. but i do admit i called u one after the unwarned kick making me lose my killstreak lol after i said no it was to chile. and honestly didnt seee you say stop maybe because i wasnt in game anymore due to prior kick. and the immediate kicks upon return. all i saw was kick and me return and say asshole and kick and me return and me say asshole. just telling u what i saw. not trying to keep it going just tryin to explain myself. and i dont doubt you saw something else. do as you wish. was fun while it lasted either way. but this saying should be deleted You need to check your sensitive feelings at the door when you come here: if you don't like it, don't look at it or don't comment on it.

Snitz You were calling someone an asshole in game and when I asked if you were talking to me you replied yes. I asked you to stop, you continued to say asshole in game apparently in answer to my questions. I gave you 3 warnings to stop, these were seen by 2 other admins and I kicked you 3 times. I said when you returned for a 4th time if you continued then I would ban you, you seemed to pay no heed to this and continued to spam asshole across the chat so I banned you. I have discussed this with the admins who were in game and with our Head Admin team and I will be leaving the ban in situ for 24 hours, I will lift this ban at 21:00 BST

I miss my 71 Ford F-100 3 speed with a Hurst Shifter on the floor and a 351 Windsor engine. It was also a short bed truck. it needed a paint job and some body cancer repair between the bed and cab.

I have only ever owned Mossberg 500, currently in the pistol grip config. Six shot with one in the chamber,...if you need more than one shot to down an intruder, you need more practice. Another aspect of choosing home defense items is the ammo. If you live in an apartment with neighbors close by, then birdshot is going to be the choice. If you are in a house on a lot and no neighbors or other family members to worry about, then slug or buckshot should be your choice. Happy hunting!

Hello, As many of you know, I love to use shotguns in video games. However, I do not know too much about them in real life. I would like to purchase a pump action shotgun for home defense and occasional target practice at a gun range. If anyone has advice for a good shotgun to buy, I'd greatly appreciate it. The reason I am interested in a pump action is because I heard they don't need to be calibrated, per ammo type, like an auto loading shotgun and have more versatility for what type of ammunition I load into it. Particularly, if I can shoot non-lethal bean bag rounds, that is what I'd like. I don't want to kill anybody, although of course I'd keep that type of ammo too. We had to down size and move into a more affordable home when my Dad died, and the area we live in now is not that great. Thanks. V/R, RANDALL

deerejon, I also live in NJ. Are you familiar with the gun laws? Do I need some sort of permit?

Maybe try clearing out your cache, cookies and history. Then install the addons ghostery and adblock plus. You can easily whitelist your favorite sites with both of them. They give a pop up for it.

Get a Benelli SuperNova Tactical if you want a pump for home defense....although personally I have a Benelli M4....it's a bit more spendy though and it's a gas operated semi-auto.

Actually, if it weren't for the French the United States wouldn't exist in it's present form. They supplied: Military uniforms, boots, rifles, at least 75% of the gunpowder, military training, diplomatic inroads, diplomatic training, naval escorts for merchant ships trading with Europe, supportive naval interference of teh British heading this way...just about anything you can imagine that was needed in a conflict they provided. To hear you tell it, a bunch of farmers were gonna win it single-handed. Also, there was no active conflict between the U.S. & the U.K. in the late 19th century as you purport. And the U.S. had a nascent naval fleet at best & was in no condition to go sailing to England or anywhere else to kick anyone's ass.
