i understand that 64bit o/s can run 32bit that's always been in windows o/s however the only reason i never upgraded to 8 or 10 was literally because i can't stand the ui at all, i'll think about it in about a years time but till then i'll keep my eyes peeled on roll back versions of 10 like soooo https://www.howtogeek.com/277448/how-to-make-windows-10-look-and-act-more-like-windows-7/

Hey Ron, if you and your wife are in good health you should be fine. I realize your living in a hot spot, my wife’s family are reasonably close as well. I do feel for you buddy. There is only one confirmed case in my province and I found out that person worked at a bank 100 steps from my medical centre. She worked at the bank for a week prior to being quarantined. Now that wouldn’t seem to bad but I work in healthcare and see numerous patients in that area, plus my wife who has leukemia is incredibly nervous of that situation and my proximity. Best to stay calm and make sure you do what we each can to reduce the spread of this.

On a more serious note it's started here, I get my food delivered and have just done my weekly, normal, order. No toilet paper, no tinned items available nor dried foods such as rice, tell them not to panic and what do they do - panic, so predictable eh? The press are wholly to blame for this, it is the martians invading New York all over again, although wtf they are doing with all the toilet paper makes my imagination run wild. There was an article on the BBC website today typical of the snowflake society we live in, it was called 'Alternatives to toilet paper'. FFS, my grandparents, who had an outside toilet and used newspaper must be rolling around in heaven laughing. Most of the f....g world doesn't use paper, and we need to teach people alternatives ? we are truly sad. So I see here a lot of young whipper snapper, nothing can hurt me comments. Well, my friends, at 66 (in very good health) I am still not fully convinced that we are in dire straits. I do however listen to and weigh each post for its worth. Being smart means being prepared for the unexpected. Yeah, it may never get to you, but what if does? Are you prepared to take the necessary precautions? At what time do you concede you need to be more aware of the situation and take action? I think its like Rugger said, sitting in front of this PC playing games all day will keep you safe. But, we have to eat, DRINK, and perform other tasks that take us out into the public. Most of the world is going to get sick and there are two things about that that really frighten me: that it could evolve faster than vaccines and that apparently, you can be reinfected. If these prove true, many of us are going to die. Yes, flu has killed far more people because so many more people that coronavirus get flu. But that's going to change. And, coronavirus is far, far more deadlier. While only one tenth of a percent of flu victims die, coronavirus is 34 times more deadly, killing 3.4 percent of victims. And the older you are, the far deadlier it is. Flu kills only .8 percent of victims over age 65. With coronavirus, If you're under 50 about 1.3 percent of victims die. But if you're 50-59 that more than doubles to 3.6 percent. It doubles again over age 70 to 8 percent and if you're over 80, 15 percent of victims die. Other factors also increase your risk of death from coronavirus. For instance, when coronavirus attacks, the body's immune system is completely overwhelmed. If your immune system is compromised as mine is you're at greater risk. Ground zero is the lungs and many patients develop pneumonia in both. Because I smoked for 50 years and have restrictive lung disease I'm at much greater risk. And, it leads to kidney failure. I have only about 30 percent of kidney function as is. If I get coronavirus, I'm toast. But I don't see how to prevent that unless I move to Antartica. We'll see what happens. Wish all of you the best. Things are going to get very bad in every country as it spreads.
