This is how I feel. In no way am i going to belittle anyone or call anyone names. I am not telling you what to do and I am not going to judge anyone and or tell you how to live your lives. So here it is. With everything that is going on the world I hope this can be a hard lesson for everyone. I hope that people can start taking better care of themselves. Physically, mentally and financially. I go to out in public or to the stores and see people very overweight. I see children that are obese and it breaks my heart to see that they might never have a chance. I hear people talking about how they have no money to buy food, clothes, pay their rent or pay their bills. In it breaks my heart. I hear people speak of depression, suicide, hurting themselves or just falling down the rabbit hole. Trust me when I say it it...I understand...I get it...but, i know that people can change. Years ago I was in so much pain due to the lose of my brother, I blamed myself!! I put a gun to my head and pulled the trigger on for the chamber to be empty. From that day on I vowed to take care of myself, my family, friends and strangers. Yeah, some know I can be an asshole and I like to stir things up. But, it is all in good fun. I chase demons everyday. The demons have caused me to be separated from my wife and children for the last 6 months. However, I still do everything I can for all of them. When am I telling everyone this you ask? Well let me tell you. I want people to take better care of themselves. Eat healthier, exercise, seek counseling, seek financial guidance. Spend less money on things we don't need. Help others. Please let me know how I can help. I am always available to listen and help. I have been working 12-16 per day. I am in logistics so you can imagine how busy it is. I pray for you all. My prayer is that we have peace in our lives.

Much agreed even though I and others joke and piss about I'm fairly certain anyone with 2 brain cells can see it's a problem we don't need reminding it's on the news the radio and the Internet practically 24/7 what you don't mention is how companies have gone bust due to the international isolation I myself am twined with a company that mainly makes money from the export of vehicles and items to countries like Poland Lithuania Africa and the such with the EU borders closing as well as other I won't mention brexit as I don't want the arguments on good or bad we are struggling on a day to day basis you don't need to tell us the repercussions of this most of us already live with it day to day also here in the uk the nhs is funded through national insurance and tax payers money which if more companies go bust puts a larger strain on everything as instead of money going in more people go on universal credits or disability which is also tax payer funded if commerce stops in the uk the system runs out of money it's all full circle round here the evidence everyone's brought forth is much appreciated how ever we are all idiots but we aren't all dumb On a side note both my mother and my missus's mother are immunocomprimised and I swear to god if I got infected or even a slight hint of a cold or cough I wouldn't go near them of my fiancee till I was clear + a week

Hello every body , Im from Canada , here is my opinion and self experience about Coronavirus. I was returning from a 16 days cruise on march 1st , to port of Los Angeles , three days after i was ill , slight fever headaches coughing a lot , and runny nose, two days after , i had to call ambulance to get me to hospital cause of difficulty breathing, bubble sound in my lung , impossible to stay abed or even sit too much coughing . At my local hospital they isolate me in a special room , and they took special protocol to threat me and test me for different disease including covid-19 and flu . The personnal of hospital thanked me because i told them all the good information and i didnt get in the emergency wiating area to possible infecting people there. Thx god everything was negative , but they treated me for infection in the lungs with penicillin for 10 days and i has statex also for helping me sleep and not coughing. Our government took it seriously and the put lock down mesures to slow down virus spread to insure the system is gonna be able to treat and have enough equipement to cure citizens. They do not want to loose control like Italy who reacted too late and doctors had to choose who they gonna treat. Here its easier beacuse everyone as free hospital and all of this. We are still limited by bed availiabilty and breathing equipement. In US i read that over 35 millions people are not insured (including the illegals) . hope you not loosing control of the spread. This virus gonna cost a lot of money and gonna put finances of most country to enormous deficits , and i say also lot enterprises gonna run bankrupt hope this not gonna put the world in big recession. I think we should take this serious and think to save our elders and others with health bad conditon. I hope 1'll never be responsible to infect another and possibly send im into death . Greetings friends, I would like to start this post by stating that my goal is not to instill panic, but to provide an analysis on this situation which I believe I am qualified to do and to perhaps prompt some of you to take this Covid-19 situation more seriously. I have an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, a Doctor of Medicine degree and completed my residency training at the Mayo Clinic. I practiced medicine for 10 years. I have co-authored several scientific papers and know how to interpret scientific data. I have spent dozens of hours over the last 6 weeks combing through the available data surrounding this virus outbreak. This is not “just another flu”. The main reason for serious concern is the fact that our medical system is not prepared or equipped to deal with the surge in demand we are likely to see as this situation unfolds. While our government did eventually cut off travel arrivals from China, it was too little too late. Hundreds of thousands of people from China arrived in America before this ban went into effect, many of them likely infected and asymptomatic. Additionally, our CDC and FDA were asleep at the wheel, and in typical government bureaucratic fashion fucked the management of this up due to their desire to maintain total control of the testing procedure. This is now a situation of containment. It’s a numbers game. Yes, if you are under 65 and healthy you are not likely to become seriously ill if infected with Covid-19. However, do you have family, friends or neighbors that are older, or have pre-existing health problems? Are you willing to be so cavalier about this outbreak and be the reason one of these people ends up hospitalized? We do not have the capacity here in America to deal with tens of thousands of people that need an ICU bed. We have about 100k ICU beds here in the USA. At this very moment, approximately 75-80k of those beds are occupied with people sick from all sorts of regular ailments (yes, including some with “regular flu”) Below are some recently updated numbers from Italy and Korea to hopefully wake you “it’s just the flu” bros the fuck up. Italy -Total cases +25% 3089—->3858 -Death Toll +38% 107—->148 -ICU +19% 295—>351 -Hospitalized +33% 1346—->1790 Horrific data points out of Lombardy, Italy 9-10% cases in ICU 10% of doctors and nurses can’t work because they tested positive South Korea -Total cases 5766—>6284 -Death toll 35—>42 Almost all of the data coming out of China has been complete bullshit. Including all of the latest data showing that they have almost no new cases and most people have recovered. At one point in China, 700 million people were locked down and forced to home quarantine. Do you honestly believe they would do that for “just another flu”? Here in America we have been behind the curve and have not been doing the appropriate amount of testing and social distancing needed to slow the spread enough to prevent eventually overwhelming our healthcare system. South Korea has done a much better job with this, and they still are dealing with a rapid increase in cases. If this doesn’t change soon, we are in big trouble here in America. We cannot build a hospital in 10 days like they did in China. We do not have excess ventilators and nursing staff. If you do not take this situation seriously, you are actually becoming part of the problem. I wish all of you the best. I consider all of you my friends, and I hope that none of you ultimately become sick, or have a family member who becomes sick. I’d recommend obvious common sense stuff such as frequent hand washing and using hand sanitizer, but I’d also suggest avoiding crowded situations if they are not necessary. It’s possible that if enough people change their behavior, and all of the large conferences and gatherings are canceled or postponed we can minimize the impact of this on our society. If not, we are going to have a similar situation to China and Italy very soon. It’s entirely possible it’s too late to stop that from occurring. Be prepared for school closures and travel disruptions. Ideally, be prepared to spend a minimum of two weeks (three-four better) without leaving your home. Have enough food, medicine, (alcohol) etc that you could hunker down and avoid contact with others and public places. Chances of needing to do this are not astronomical, but they are also not zero. They are being abandoned because of the earth’s core heating up via the incoming radiation...this was something they did not plan on when initially building the bunkers. Giant cracks are forming in the earth and underground is not the best place to be and many of them are becoming compromised and taking in water. To add insult to injury as discussed before on this forum is that big earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, wild extreme weather, loss of fresh water supply, displacement of oceans will all start to happen before the arrival of these asteroids too. The earth simply cannot sustain all of the incoming radiation.

My aunt works at our local Walmart and she said that there was a couple guys in a big box truck going around town buying up all of the TP. Seriously WHAT IN THE FLYING FUCK! Are people eating it? lol Just went to town to get a few groceries and everyone is completely sold out of TP and Bread and bottled water and any type of alcohol based Sanitizer including rubbing alcohol which my dad needs for his Diabetes testing. I bought 2 of those big Value packs last week so we're good on TP. If I run out I'll cut up some old bead sheets or go up in the woods and grab a hand full of leaves lol.

Most of the world is going to get sick and there are two things about that that really frighten me: that it could evolve faster than vaccines and that apparently, you can be reinfected. If these prove true, many of us are going to die. Yes, flu has killed far more people because so many more people that coronavirus get flu. But that's going to change. And, coronavirus is far, far more deadlier. While only one tenth of a percent of flu victims die, coronavirus is 34 times more deadly, killing 3.4 percent of victims. And the older you are, the far deadlier it is. Flu kills only .8 percent of victims over age 65. With coronavirus, If you're under 50 about 1.3 percent of victims die. But if you're 50-59 that more than doubles to 3.6 percent. It doubles again over age 70 to 8 percent and if you're over 80, 15 percent of victims die. Other factors also increase your risk of death from coronavirus. For instance, when coronavirus attacks, the body's immune system is completely overwhelmed. If your immune system is compromised as mine is you're at greater risk. Ground zero is the lungs and many patients develop pneumonia in both. Because I smoked for 50 years and have restrictive lung disease I'm at much greater risk. And, it leads to kidney failure. I have only about 30 percent of kidney function as is. If I get coronavirus, I'm toast. But I don't see how to prevent that unless I move to Antartica. We'll see what happens. Wish all of you the best. Things are going to get very bad in every country as it spreads.
