Thankfully ping is king when it comes to FPS games; if it was download speed I'd be screwed!

I noticed a huge difference from going from a 20" 1ms 1080p monitor to a 27" Samsung supposedly 2ms (GTG) 1080p 60hz LED backlit monitor. My old 20" monitor felt much much faster. Doing a real MPRT test with my 27" Samsung monitor shows that it is actually 16.7ms response time which is absolutely fucking HORRIBLE. This monitor has 3 response time settings and set to Quickest it adds something like 12ms of buffering which feels like Input Lag and adds Edge smoothing which makes it look like crap in games.I would rather it be slower response time then have very noticeable input lag and that Edge smoothing crap. It's a Samsung SyncMaster SA550. Here is the test. Start at 0 Pixels Per Frame and adjust up until you see a perfect scrolling checkerboard pattern. Then look at your MPRT which is your Real World monitor Response Time. https://www.testufo.com/mprt
