I take it you went through these steps: " Recovering the BIOS using key press combination When you upgrade the BIOS on your PC, a copy of the previous BIOS version is stored in the HP_TOOLS partition of your hard drive. Many HP computers have an emergency BIOS recovery feature that allows you to recover and install the last known good version of the BIOS from the hard drive, as long as the hard drive remains functional. This emergency recovery feature is separate from the BIOS and is designed to work in the event of a catastrophic BIOS failure. To recover an earlier version of the BIOS on your PC: Turn off the computer. With the computer off, press and hold the Windows logo key and the B key at the same time. Still pressing those keys, press and hold down the Power button on the computer for 2 to 3 seconds, and then release the Power button but continue to hold the Windows and B keys until the BIOS update screen is displayed or until you hear a beeping sound (usually 8 beeps). The power LED light remains on, and the screen remains blank for about 40 seconds before anything appears on the display. You might also hear beeping sounds. Eventually, an HP BIOS Update screen displays and the BIOS update begins automatically."

In the above release notes it states "HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-0xxx_TG01-1xxx_TG01-2xxx Desktop", this would seem to include your model, no?
-
I found a few releases for the TP01 models. No of them was for TP01-1183w. Can I use one for a different model? From what I found that if I purchased a new bios chip. According to google ai anyways. It says the chip would normally come with bios firmware F47 Rev A. I found that file on HPs website. But it was for a different model still. However I also seen other versions of the file too. I’m just not that familiar with bios to pull the trigger and try and upload random versions. From what I’m seeing this is a common issue with HP.

Imagine 800mg three times a day.

I’m happy for you Rob

I think chatgpt found a direct link: TITLE: HP Consumer Desktop PC BIOS (ROM Family 8767) VERSION: F.54 REV: A PASS: 1 DESCRIPTION: This package contains the Windows-based HP system BIOS update. It is essential upgrades for a computer's firmware. BIOS is a firmware stored on a chip on the system board and controls hardware components. The package also regularly addresses various issues, enhances system compatibility, and provides security improvements. PURPOSE: Routine SOFTPAQ NUMBER: sp163235 SOFTPAQ FILE NAME: sp163235.exe SOFTPAQ MD5: 277BC63373D798E517E8B15443E7794A SUPERSEDES: sp155199 EFFECTIVE DATE: September 16, 2025 CATEGORY: BIOS SSM SUPPORTED: No PRODUCT TYPE(S): Consumer Desktops HARDWARE PRODUCT MODEL(S): HP ENVY TE01-0xxx_TE01-1xxx_TE01-2xxx_TE01-3xxx_TE01-4xxx_ Desktop HP Pavilion Gaming TG01-0xxx_TG01-1xxx_TG01-2xxx Desktop HP Pavilion TP01-0xxx_TP01-1xxx_TP01-2xxx_TP01-3xxx_TP01-4xxx_ Desktop PC OPERATING SYSTEM(S): Microsoft Windows 10 All Editions (64-bit) Microsoft Windows 11 This isn't the direct file for the bios, just the release notes, but it looks like the model is there. Chatgpt gives the link for the download of the bios as well from the hp ftp site, which I assume is legit and legal.

The HP Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767) features a customized proprietary form factor equipped with an Intel H470 chipset and an LGA1200 socket, typically found in HP Pavilion Gaming (TG01) and Pavilion Desktop (TP01) prebuilt PCs. [1, 2, 3, 4] If you are looking to upgrade or add a solid-state drive (SSD) to this specific board, here are the key storage expansion details and options: Supported SSD Formats M.2 NVMe SSD (Recommended): The board features exactly one M.2 Socket 3 (Key M) slot which supports both 2242 and 2280 size form factors. [1] Interface Generation: This M.2 slot operates at PCIe Gen 3 speeds. You can safely buy and install a newer PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD (like a WD Black SN770 or Samsung 970/980 series), but the motherboard will cap its throughput at Gen 3 speeds. [1] SATA SSDs: You can also expand your storage using traditional 2.5-inch SATA SSDs connected via the onboard standard SATA data ports and powered by the HP proprietary power supply cables. [1] Crucial Installation Tips Partition Style: Ensure you install Windows in UEFI mode so the system automatically formats your drive with a GPT partition table. This is critical if you are upgrading to a high-capacity drive (such as 4 TB) so the full volume is recognized. [1, 2] Drive Physical Profile: Stick to a single-notch M.2 NVMe drive. Avoid M.2 drives with large, chunky aftermarket heatsinks as space inside the compact HP Pavilion chassis is highly restricted. [1, 2]

My son computer was hella laggy. I told him it’s probably updating. He checked and it was. Then he clicked the optional updates, one of them being a bios update. The computer restarted and failed to send a signal to the monitor or power to keyboard or mouse. Im assuming the bios is corrupted. 2022 HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop pc Model: TG01-1183w HP does not support this model or just doesn’t provide software for it. I’ve fallowed the hp guide for recovery. Up to the point of needing the software to recover it. Which isn’t provided by HP. From what I’ve seen online it has a Baker motherboard with ssdi: 8767. Is there anyway to locate the bios for this thing??

Will we ever see dedicated server games again?
GhostfaceJim replied to wahoo4's topic in General Discussion
Conan Exiles has dedicated servers. I have one spun up and usually populated well. -
Hope you feel better soon.

I'm glad you are "normal"
