Latest mod

I am having great difficulty with this mod and it just isn't fun any more..... I hate to complain about it because I know it is a lot of work and there are planty of features that are good, but I can't play this version:

 

CI's happen very frequently and large CI's at that.

 

Knife is rediculous.... Bloodyrbeye was stood still, I had dead silence, crept up behind him, hit knife and it lunged me forward and hit the wall beside him. He hadnt moved, i was perfect distance away and stationary.

 

I can empty a full clip at someone stood still in front of me and not hit them. If they are moving, I may as well not bother.

 

Cars unaffected by EMP's, cars still blowing me up even though I'm using hardwired.

 

I can be shooting through a doorway and another enemy just marches through the doorway without getting hit (Saritch has a reasonable rate of fire, so its unlikely they would make it in between bullets) and shoots me.

I would like to request that the old mod be put up alongside this one so we can choose which one to play. We have plenty of server space with the empty ones we have and we still have the older FT mod on, so I don't see why it would be a problem.

I'm not having any of these problems. Maybe except for a couple ci's but nothing major. :-/

This has been an issue for some players since the new mod first came in. Seems to be no rhyme or reason why some of us experience this and others don't, but it is happening but not to everyone. Most notably for myself, I found a shorter effective distance for my shottie as well as the problem of seemingly shooting Strait through players and I also experience the knife issue as well.

 

When it really gets to me I play another server be it ours or another clans depending if ours are populated enough to join or not.

 

We had the old mod on a separate server but it never got populated funnily enough.

 

Bask in the frustration lol.

I agree with Blaze here. I cant get on with the new mod BUT i will still play; i will probably get better soon

I'm with Queenie on this one... Sorry... I think your hax aren't working on the new mod... You will have to buy some more... LOL

 

I would suggest restarting your router weekly as my CI's have been greatly reduced since I did that... Might help

Whenever a big CI hits I get one of these in console....

I have all the same issues as Blaze.

I love the mod and it's features, but I've found myself just staying away from freezetag now and just playing on the ROTU server

I agree with Blaze and Nitro, Having the same issues, knifing for me is just pointless cause it goes through the enemy and nothing happens. Shooting for me is not great either and there is also 1-2 seconds delay from the moment that an enemy gets hit and the death. I can see a big difference in shooting comparing to the previous mod. 

I do appreciate that you guys always come up with some new mods or versions of the mods and I always enjoyed playing them but the latest one in mw2 server is just really frustrating for me.

I find the mod in general ok. but which I have no longer get by the weapons. I have since the new mod will now be played less than half the previous mod hit rate. one desperate at some point if you permanently on people it sees but nothing happened but this hit me with a shot. Give me the weapons from the previous mod again or composes both mods.

I have trying to work out a good setup for classes so once that is done i should be okay but for the love of god, fix the knife

@@Sammy and I sat and watched the game after Turk complained about the knife. We watched him get 21 knife kills in one round....seemed to be working fine, maybe @@Sammy can look at again.

I keep trying to knife people but it doesnt work half the time. Same with hit detection on some weapons. It is really bad on the WA2000 sniper or whatever its called

I have an old lazy computer and no skills atm.. so i wont blame anything to the mod or what ever.. normally when i miss a knife, its because i miss.. and hitmarkers?? i have plenty of them, but for some reason people are starting to use the vest. .!. ;-) so i turned to poisen!! works like a treat!!  
So im not having problems with the mod or the server, just my skillset not being there!

The only people thoroughly enjoy change are babies with wet diapers. Sometimes we just have to take the bad with the good. There will never be any iteration of this modded game that rings "perfect" for all involved.

The AP perk ignores body armor entirely.

At the time the knife is at the center of the screen, not just when you push the button, make sure the target is centered. Otherwise you will miss. It has always been this way.

The inclose combat blows biscuits now! I can be spraying a doorway with a P90 and people walk through and shoot ya in the face. Come up behind someone, 10 virtual feet away, 3 3 round bursts with a M16 laser sighted at their back, not even a hit, they spin and one shot you. Knifes are horrible, true GG, Turk probably got 21 knifes in 1 map, but he would normally get 41. many many times i have heard a knife swish at me, thinking a friendly was messing around I ignore it, hear it again, spin and shoot an enemy in face, he should of had me dead to rights twice, and it has happened vice versa. It is not just Euro players, spend a few hours on the server and you hear people who dont normally bitch, bitch about stuff, im not saying listen to the Stang's Syckles and CuteBoobies.... they bitch no matter what.... but when you start getting people who never say squat complaining about spraying someone with a MG and they walk through it. maybe something is going on. Just a lowly birds point of view

Nope happens to me to.

 

I knifed someone 9 times before he noticed the sound and he turned around and open scoped me with a sniper rifle.

 

Close quarters combat SUCKS.It acts like the gun or knife is SUPER LONG and you are firing Through them instead of Into them.I've put full clips into people from 5 feet away and the bullet impacts on the wall or ground behind them show that I should of atleast hit the person a few times but not a single hit is registering.

Yeah it's definitely close quarters where it's happening.... can nail someone sprinting from opposite corner of a large map with the saritch and supressor...put the same person 3 feet in front of me...I run out of ammo before they kill me or someone else shoots them.

 

Had the same thing as Stormcrow... had someone running away from me in a straight line, I bring iron sights up and shoot right through the fucker like he's a figment of my imagination.
