What are the rules on recording, is it permitted? - also I want to know if spectators will be allowed, as I don't wish for complications on teams being accused of cheating because there were spectators. (some could use an alternate method of voip) - I see there is 10 minute maps, best of 3 rounds- but how many maps? Are teams allowed to substitute mid-series? rules for timeouts? does the 10 minute maps have a constant clock ticking down from 10 minutes, or are the rounds themselves 10 mins?

If you wanna record I don't see why you can't or stream it live on Twitch for everyone to watch. 

No spectators in the matches, people could give away positions of players

There will be 1 map per week, all 3 rounds will be played on the same map

No subs mid game

If you timeout, then its not your lucky day, nothing will be done about it 

The clock will start ticking down once the match starts.

@Ruggerxi is this going to be a round-robin or single or double elimination?  The reason I ask is that unless it is round-robin we would really need 16 teams in order to avoid the controversial bye.  If you already have that worked out in your planning, please disregard my question or tell me to F-Off.

Good point Funky, I will need to figure something out. Will update once I have a solution

The typical round robin is a lot of games for 13 teams since they all have to play each other. It still has a bye anyways because its an odd number. If that is too much might be worth considering two leagues. A and B, with each having 7 teams (if one more can be found). Round robin is scheduled in each so seven games over seven weeks. The winner of each face off in the title match. There are online generators for scheduling.

IMO, allowing teams to pick their own names would be fun.

Oh I am out because I dont have the time... and because there is always the suggestion that I might have enabled cheats. Bhwhahaha.

The way it sits right now, we have 14 teams, I don't wanna do a round robin, that would take too long. If it stays at 14 teams we will do a random draw and give 2 teams a bye on the first round. The bracket will look like this

However, if @FRENCHI and @Quint agree, our team asks not to be part of the random draw since we are in to play 

And anyway, we will reach the 2nd round  . For this, we already have a strategy: Quint kills everybody and Frenchi and I count the points

To make it fair, to account for the bye, might want to do something like allowing the team that had to win the earlier match to choose the map.

Could have a winners and losers bracket, have the two 'bye' teams face each other to dictate who goes into which bracket- if a team were to end up in the losers bracket and lose again, then they are eliminated.

So I was messing around on the tourney servers and it seems to go black and white during rounds and back to normal inbetween them in the strategy phase/ ready up period. - I wasn't the only one experiencing this.

Can you be more specific about what was happening at the time to help track down what might be going on? I think other mods have experienced the same thing from time to time. For a mod to do it and apply to everybody at the same time requires a specific command about changing a vision setting for all players. It is not called at any time during gameplay other than the tac nuke. Once at the beginning of the map during the count down and also occasionally at the end of the round.

Ok I might I see the problem and whats happening. Maybe related to 'readyup' which isnt being used on the main server and I didnt test it. If so shouldnt be a problem to fix just need to go through how the readyup part works.

edit: If a couple people want to give it a try let me know how it goes.

When all matches have been played, and you're assigned your next opponent..... next round starts Oct 2, or whenever all 1st round matches have been played
