Think I caught COVID... again. Yay.

Runny nose, sneezing, chills, aches, elevated temperature (99.2F), moderately productive cough.  Good thing is, I'm already feeling better as I write this.  Taking the Methylprednisolone from when I caught it last year & some Guafenesin to expel the gunk.  Got vaccinated earlier this year, so I'm beyond happy with a 48-hour illness resolution.  I get tested tomorrow morning (it's free to all) & will get results in the next couple days.  And a preemtive fuckouttahere to anyone wanting to turn this into a political post.  Oh yeah, had soft stool, too; that shit can infect your gut & other organs where the appropriate epithelial markers are in abundance.  So, will be self-isolating for at least the next few days; more than likely 10 days.  Time to get some fishin' in!!

Our local library is passing out the 15 minute tests you can do from home.  We picked up a few for future testing (if need be).  You might see if yours does for future reference.  Or anybody for that matter.  I imagine local health departments may have them too.  These quick ones do not require you to touch your brain with a q-tip.  Just up the nose a little.

I am glad to hear you are doing good this time around, the whole idea of this jab is to keep people from dying if they do end up getting it as well as not killing your family and friends by giving it to them. When I had it there wasn't anything they knew to give me, hell my test took 13 days for results to come back that's how early I got it here in the Seattle area. I took over the counter Guaifenesin/Mucinex since I have a history of colds that attack my lungs and linger so it's always in the cupboard and Nyquil so I could sleep since I don't drink and the small amount of alcohol is just enough. I ordered some legal edibles that had both high THC as well as CBD levels since smoking wasn't a option to also help with aches and sleep. Nor was fishing you bastard as it was 6 weeks before the Trout season opened here and it was too cold to go sit on a dock with just hot coffee to keep me warm these days. Good luck FISHING and hope you feel better soon and the sun will help you as well just like any other time a person gets sick, sun and fresh air done correctly never killed anyone. I never stopped wearing my mask when the requirement here was dropped for those of us who had been fully vaccinated in late July because it was on the "Honor System" and I didn't trust a person who wouldn't get protected keeping their mask on as was the mandate for public health reasons. On a side note I went in to my Bank today to cash a few checks and put some of the money in the bank. I was wearing all black clothing, a black baseball cap, sunglasses and a mask and the 2 tellers knew who I was before I got to the counter and didn't have to show my ID even though I was cashing almost $1,500.00 in checks. Feel Better and post pictures of your catches and remember hold the fish away from your body closer to the camera, it makes them look huge if done right and it's not a lie because it is the viewers perception so you don't need a ruler. That just gave me an idea for a great product see ya later

Yeah, Guaifenesin, Methylprednisolone, Albuterol when needed & some prophylactic antibiotics.  Oh, a cough suppressant, too; but I didn't take it.  It's a good time to take a week or so off with the weather being so comfortably agreeable.  Low humidity, lower insect & pollen problem for the most part & more-comfortable temperatures.  Plus, the fish are fattening up for the coming season.  Halcyon, ephemeral weather; where everything is winding down.  Ineffable on so many levels.  The days seem suspended outside of time & are a wonderful refuge to which one must return to reconnect in restful quietude to that of which we are all a part.  Something like that.  Good eats, too.

It's a pcr test & more accurate than the 15-minute test; hence being sent off to a proper lab to detect genetic material for the virus & the 2-3 day return time.
