My Wife lost her parents about 3 months apart and it was like a double gut punch for us all. It was 11 years ago and we still are not completely over it but we know they are happy and young again and our Angels. Your Dad was waiting for her looking just the way she had remembered him all her life and is showing her the way things work in Heaven and how to get her favorite treats. Your Family now has two very powerful Guardian Angels watching over them all. Just FYI when you think about them or need them they are right there with you, that's why they pop in our minds so often. They know they are loved and will be forever and they want us to know they got us covered. My Prayers to everyone who knew and Loved your Parents. Sending ya a big brotherly hug. My grandmother was 99 when she got pneumonia and had a bad stroke and passed away in her sleep just days later. She had Alzheimer's for the last 25ish years and it was absolutely horrible. I'll always remember her as my favorite Sassy Red headed Irish Grandma. She was the kindest person that I've ever known but wasn't afraid to tell ya off if she disapproved of something you did lol. We had Mom's funeral today. Our family were very appreciative of our families and friends who attended the wake and funeral. She had a great send off. Many wonderful stories were told, with laughter and tears. The priest did a great job. After the burial we were treated to a great buffet. After 69 years of marriage they were only apart for 166 days. Now they are back together. These two love birds are responsible for 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
