Some of you have been asking me where Ive been. So Instead of telling the same story 30 times I will just make this post. On May 15th I became a Grandpa for the the first time. And well lets just say I am having more fun with my grand baby than I do gaming. For 15 years of my daughters lives I spent only seeing them every second weekend.. So lets just say Ive missed a lot of there lives and I vowed I wouldnt with my grand children. So thats where a lot of my time is spent. Also, I am a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse which keeps me very busy also(child abuse is an epidemic around the world). Summer here in Canada, its riding season. Al that coupled with working full time, ive not been on much. Sorry about that but winter is coming and things will slow Before I go though, I will share a couple photos of my newest family member.

It looks like the helmet worn by sinister bounty hunter Boba Fett in Star Wars – but it’s not only real, it’s being trialled by the SAS. The Devtac Ronin Kevlar Level IIIA Tactical Ballistic Helmet can withstand AK-47 rounds, and includes air conditioning to protect wearers from heat and gases. Troops have – of course – nicknamed the hi-tech helmet the ‘Boba Fett’ after the iconic villain. The helmet has systems to detect signals from other wearers. The lenses also have an infrared option so that troops can pinpoint enemies in the dark or in smoky conditions. A military source told the Daily Mirror, ‘’For years the defence industry has been trying to find a way of protecting the head and this is the next development. ‘The helmet, already being used by special forces, is much more versatile than just stopping bullets. It is fitted with the latest communications technology and will help the soldier see the enemy no matter what the circumstances.’

I find it a shame that EA/Dice went about this game the way they did as they did ruin the community spirit and they didn't listen to the existing community for Battlefield. that being said i like the game its self and I'm not going to abandon it, if XI wants to do so that's up to them i understand the reasons why but it will still not stop me from playing it. I will aso not go back to BF4 i played it to death im top level have all the weapons and the only reason for me to play it is to open up all the silly little add-ons for the weapons which i got totally bored doing before yes it was a good game may be still is but its had its day for me. I will be sad to see BF1 go from XI if it does but so be it.

I like Battlefield 1 as well. I still play 2-4 evenings a week. being summer I've turned my attention to other things......and of coarse the Granddaughter takes the @1 spot!

I want to thank all the idiots here for the nice condolences and remembering my father AH1 (David Brick). I would like to thank Crash also for starting a post in remembrance of his ex father in law. I am formal member of XI where issues arose with prior funds raised for a great member here. I still struggle to resolve that prior issue due to finances. One day I do hope to take care of that matter. I am only using his computer and internet to give you information. XI has always been great for me many years ago and for my father AH1 up to his passing. This XI family definitely helped me, my father and many others through some hard battles in life. Thank You all for supporting AH1 and gaming many many hours with him. Thank You So Much, Jason Brick P.S. - My father passed peacefully and in no pain in his home.
