Like some of you know..I found a wallet last month with $1.300 cash in it..Looked at Id , it was my neighbor..I gave it back and he was happy a pig in mud. I felt good as I knew it was the right thing to do..Now.. I lost my Android phone Saturday, with ALL my contacts and kids pictures..Went to Mall and realize it was gone, when we got back to car..I asked wife to call my cell, someone answer it. I was like...You found my phone eh..He says yes sir, Can I get it back please?. Of course..Who is this? , It was my other neighbor. in front of me. He says to me..I was smoking a cigarette out the window and saw it on the grass... SAME spot I found the wallet.. He was like..I saw pictures and knew it was you..I HAD to give it back. Moral of the story.. Do good and it will come back to you.. Karma 101..3 points

good new, bad news, then good news
BigPapaDean and 2 others reacted to LtLaszlo for a topic
Thanks to everyone for the support. I have been truly blessed. First, with good health, opportunity and a good career that has allowed me to provide and raise a family comfortably (I did pay my "dues" early on with my employer!). And now for my wife, Deb to have gone through successfully prove He watches over me. I know that life can turn at any time, as you say Papa, so I appreciate every day! Spending some time in a hospital opens ones eyes to our mortality!3 points -

Then again if you kept the wallet and let your neighbour keep your phone, you could have bought another phone and had money left over lol.3 points -

Damage_inc- and one other reacted to Barron for a topic
It peaked 862,413 players online this week. Insane considering the game is only out a few months. It even got more players than CSGO now. It will be a matter of time till it reaches 1 million players playing Stats can be found here: http://steamcharts.com/2 points -

mw2 146b9 map rotation
Sharpe and one other reacted to WldPenguin for a topic
Exactly my question.....just last week so many people wanted to see some new maps. After playing only about 4-5 maps in today's earlier rotation, they've already complained. Many of the maps further into the rotation were ones that haven't been played on this server in over a year, and just 3 days ago Loco and I were discussing some of those very maps that we felt should be put into the rotations. I know it's difficult to please everyone, but people really need to give things a chance first if they want to see new stuff. Otherwise, those of us testing maps and working on the rotations could be just wasting time.....2 points -

P-51 Porn
JohnnyNashville and one other reacted to AyaqGuyaq for a topic
Nice photo, @codpiece. I've seen photos of the venerable P-51 coming back from escorting missions in Germany with carrot vegetation in its "air scoop," it was flying that low. The P-51 Mustang was EXTREMELY INSTUMENTAL in the destruction of Berlin and Herman Goering's vaunted Luftwaffe. It was the only fighter plane, with its beautifully-engineered Rolls Royce Merlin (thank you, to our British allies) 12-cylinder engine and body crammed with extra fuel, to escort the American B-17s to Berlin and back. It was also EXTREMELY INSTRUMENTAL in escorting the American B-29s from Iwo Jima to bomb Japanese cities, and back. Mr. Goering even remarked, when he saw P-51s in dogfights with Meschersmidtt (spelling, here, someone will correct me) ME-109s and Focke-Wulf FW-190s (more spelling correction from those that feel to do so) over Berlin: "The jig is up." He knew--Mr. Goering, that is--that the Allies had, finally, an escort fighter plane that could go to Berlin and back (to Britain), yet still have enough fuel after dog-fighting to strafe trains and other infrastructure, and such. Frickin' Allies--we love you, man!!! Good always--ultimately--overcomes evil. Just musin'. Ayaq2 points -

@YACCster, I thought that was like 50 Mexican pesos? Karma works, Oon-Chillay-No. One time a car died right in front of my house when I was mowing my lawn. The guy got out, grabbed a "Jerry Jug" from his trunk, and asked me "Is there a gas station nearby?" I replied, "Yeah, about 8 blocks away, but I've got some lawn-mower gas from last year I can give you." I went to my garage and grabbed my 5-gallon can, which had about 4 gallons (7.2 litres for my Canadian brethren) in it, and proceeded to dump it in his tank. After about a gallon was in, he said, "That's enough, that'll get me to the gas station." I proceeded to empty my can in his tank and said, "It's okay, bud, it's 'last year's gas' anyway." When my can was empty, I replaced his cap, and he tried to hand me a $20 bill. I said "Don't worry about it, bud." Seven months later, driving home from the Fur Rendezvous in Anchorage, my wife's Ford Explorer ran outta gas in a "seedy" part of town (her gas gauge was on da blink). I told my wife and kids and niece that there was a gas station just a coupla blocks away, and that I would buy a small gas can,, get some gasoline, and be right back. A guy drove up in his truck and asked "Did you run out of gas?" I said "Yeah, I'm going to the Texaco just down the street to get some." He said "Hold on, I'll be right back." Guess what? He came back in 5 minutes and put 4 gallons of gas in my tank, even though I asked him to stop after one. I offered him a suspiciously-crisp $20 note, and he said "Don't worry about it. Have a safe drive home." Karma, baby. Ayaq2 points

So.. our place pales in comparison to many beautiful homes on a large all sports lake. But at least the view is the same as my neighbrs!: Unfortunately, due to the above work and the bad news I have not had much "play" time, other than an occassional couple rounds. Parallel to the work, as some of you know from FB, my wife of 24 years, Debra was diagnosed with lung cancer. Having lost her dad 69 yrs old) and brother (45 yrs old) to it, this was not good news. She has just went through a right upper lobectomy, not an easy surgery. After seven (beautiful) days in the hospital, she is home recovering. All went well with the surgery. And, fortunately, the good news.....2 points -

Okay, so the first good news is more about why I've not been on my favs, COD2 & COD5 much lately. Besides our short summers here in Michigan, the time had come to overhaul the house, 20 plus years after adding on to it. Roof needed replaced from all the abuse it gets from the sometimes harsh winters and winds we get. So, we opted to "get the red out", you might says, so once roof was done (by others, too steep for me these days) I replaced a lot of wood siding and trim, following by staining both garage and home. Watched a lot of beautiful days roll by, but busted ass for about 4 weeks around day job to get done. Need a few more touchups and accents replaced, but here's a few before and afters:1 point

Actually no, but I'm definitely going to look into them now, as tragic as the Chernobyl incident was, I'm fascinated with the history behind it. On a semi-related note, did you know a bank still stands there filled with money? It's entirely too radiated to retrieve it. (Or so I've heard)1 point -
