I couldn't agree more. Giving people shit that you is what XI is all about, but if you think someone is hacking then go to spectate, take video, send it to the admins and we will ban them if we see them hacking. Simple as that.

I think personal attack is a difficult one. There are many of us, myself included, like to wind each other up, shout obsceneties and be ass-hats. The love is really felt on the CoD2 servers and even on CoD4 I hop in and mess around. But that's because we know each other and its just mates having fun. On the other hand, some people don't see it as fun, and they will take it personally which is what I think Apollo had done and thus went to an admin. We all get heated up and we all say things in the moment, I know I have. Maybe its about dialing it back a bit. Cuss your mates by all means but just be mindful that something you might say could be taken well out of context by someone else. 80% of speech is body language and all of that, including connotations and ways of speaking is thrown out the door in text so the meaning, joking or otherwise, is lost because other users don't know how it is you are saying it. I agree with the ruling of "don't like it, don't comment." Just leave sleeping dogs lie - you'll just open up a can of worms. And on a final note, just because someone is better than you, it doesn't make them a hacker.

Rugger is stating our long standing way to handle suspected hackers and players members or not insinuating someone is hacking has been frowned upon because it makes for a bad gaming experience for all so talking to your teammates in game chat or on teamspeak is still subjecting them to a uncomfortable situation because you put them on the spot right then and there. If they don't agree with you what will you say about them? We just found asking our members to not say anything and to capture video proof of the hacking or cheating behavior is the best method to solve these kinds of issues and don't tip the hacker off that we may suspect their game play. As a Admin I have been know to say during a game with someone I don't know who is playing way to well the words "Fucking Hack" but not right after I have been killed by them and if the hacker is the first one to deny a broad statement that could be directed at anyone is probably hacking but I am a Admin who has been here since year 1 and have caught more hackers and banned players on our COD2 servers then anyone else and we have a great admin team. I just learn how players play and even if they get banned and come back with a new name they still play the same style and say hello to the same friends the have in game. Also for what it is worth this player today may not speak English as their first language and every time my British friends say the word "Cunt" my skin crawls but for them it has a different meaning than it does me. Also the graphics thing is something you can't prove and like me you need to learn to get over it, it happens everywhere in every game. Some will us any advantage they can legally and as of now there are no rules against changing your graphics settings or config files. Plus it seems like you are also guilty of crying wolf yourself from what I read and that's not a reputation you want I suspect so let it go and smoke a big fat one or have a beer and then come back to the game. Well, I know from when i had admin rights still that there's always a way to get the chat history from a game back. IF... you never have said it Thunder, then i guess its the admin that needs to proof that with a screenshot of the chat history from that day because if you are being pointed out that you did then i guess the admin needs to proof it also just like any other. If other people call someone a hacker, it needs video proof, when an admin says you called someone hacker, then how easy would it be to get the chat's history and show it here and proof you said it. My guess is that, you are innocent until it is showed by the admin that you said it. And if they can't proof it, well then that would be really really stupid to type in this tread anyways. And until that time, you can ALL suck my hairy balls for taking my time needing to write this while i could have shot someone in game. Woomp... there it is!!!

Well mostly at the moment its just the admins and the odd XI members that pop in every once in a while. Reason the INS forums isn't barely used anymore is that the INS community on our servers are mostly our the XI INS Discord.

I believe the map mp_82ab_panzerwerk is the map we had issues with in the NamFt mod as well. You can be shooting at someone point blank and not kill them, same as for thawing. @BlackRose . I forgot to grab the map name of another map (Think it was mp_sfss_castle) where one side was spawning upside down. I’ll watch for that one next time we play it to be sure of the name.

After more experimentation the custom sniper rifle (which seemed to replace the assault rifle as the default) is too good on the maps I tried. Against them the shield pickups are nearly useless so I wouldnt even bother. Havent had the opportunity to try other weapons yet. Not trying to be a negative nellie or say something is right or wrong. Nor say what anyone should do since such things are solely up to those that put it all together. Just feedback and opinion from one player. As always it also does depend on what you are going for. Then again, everyone knows I am not a fan of easy kills.

Played the poolside mousemap. All weapons are sniper rifles. Strange thing is, a kill is a headshot no matter where it actually hit. Every time. And no, I dont have any cheats.

We have that map for COD4 Freezetag somewhere but we have not played it in a long time. It's a HUGE map and not everyone liked it. This is 1 of the UT2004 maps but I'm not sure this is the one without loading it up.

Ya I seen that. Can't afford it and not sure I would get it even if I had the money. I liked UT GOTY edition but didn't really like UT2004. Heck you can get ARMA 3 for $6.95 when it goes on sale every couple of months. 1 game I would play again is CSS Counter Strike Source freezetag. I absolutely loved the custom maps for that, especially the Glass maps where you could shoot out the glass blocks, those maps were really fun.

This game is still very popular and the servers are usually full. Server 1 has FF on and Server 2 has FF off. As to which is more popular overall Server2 is probably the most popular. However Server 1 still gets lots of players. There are 208 members but most of the players are non members but loyal players that fill the servers every day.

They didn't have to put words in your mouth you basically typed it in your post. I've played with him a long time. If you think he is hacking you probably need to go play another game more your speed like checkers. Our admins are pretty tolerant here. When you bitch moan whine every time you get shot it gets old. Maybe do less of that and spend more time practicing your aim, movement etc, you might actually improve.
