OK the rcon info is the same as the MW2 server. If you get to the end of the weapons which the knife should be the last one you should win the game. I added some more weapons and added a time limit of 12 mins. Let me know how this works.

I didnt realize this version was using the OW2 mod. With all the OW2 weapons. At least I think so.  I didnt spend much time on it to ensure there are no problems. Mostly just stock games and ftag. So it seems there are some and in this case probably trying to give a weapon that is no longer available. Causing the player to get nothing. Also not reading the correct variable name for spawn protection. Will go through things sometime today and see whats going on.

I played through all of the weapons on the NATO side and it worked fine for all of them.  Only thing was the last two - grenades and knife.  You run around with a detonator in your hand which was a little confusing at first cuz I was trying to throw C4.

Ok we went through things. Long story short is that I need to work on it. I pretty much only focused on the stock games and ftag. There are script errors because there are many ftag/stock specific things the mod looks for that dont check for gungame. Or methods were changed that the gametype doesnt use properly. Several are things that were likely never intended but still runs the checks.

 

Also there is no 'knife only' weapon in this mod. I removed it for an OW2 weapon and cannot add it back. So thats why that doesnt work. Perhaps everyone can think up alternatives with a weapon already in the game and changing how some things work. Maybe instead of a knife at the end you get the starting M9, same stats etc and the knife, but headshots only. Everything else misses. Stuff like that.

 

But anything I do has to be done in scripts so that will have limitations. There are a lot of settings I cant change. Also it cant be something that will take weeks to do.

@@Sammy, @@Ruggerxi, I went into the server this evening and had ~Marley shoot me through all of the weapons.  He was able to throw nades and knife me at the end to win the game.  The only thing I can see at this point so far is that the re-spawn time is too long (10 secs) and the spawn protection is a bit short (3 secs).  Other than that, it should work and be pretty fun.  Thanks!

Been playing it, but i cannot play it untill the hitmarkers are fixed. it is realy awfull. i tested it with dessy yesterday he was 10ft away from me he stand still infront of me shot m in the head, and no hit at all. then i moved a little next to his has, like an inch or so. and he died from a head shot lmao. 

 

if you knife someone u shud be ranked down instead of when u get killed 3 times. 

 

and the spawning time of 10 seconds needs to be 2 to max 3 seconds.

edit: Just to add, some of the problems stemming from the game come from the mod allowing you to save much much more custom class data than the standard OW mod. So I need to add more checks to look for them for gg. Oh and if you see the body armor hit icon its probably from a deathstreak. I dont remember if there is an option to turn that off. If not will add it. Up to you whether or not to leave it enabled.

Well. if i stand in front of you, and there's a distance of less then 10 meters away and u aim perfect on someone's head u don't hit the person. If you aim a little next to the enemy's head u will make a headshot. It is like if the hitmarkers don't register properly as it shud be. Edd said this morning mabye it is because the game is faster then the normal speed, but then again no, because we where both standing still to test it out if the hitmarkers did register or not, and it did not.

I've played it a couple of times now. It's a lot of fun... I've always like a good gun game. The only suggestion I have is making the spawn shorter. If you enter a map late and everyone has a better weapon, you end up waiting to spawn for more time than you get to play.

Dig the server though!
