Mw2 Freeztag Beta Supa Lag

Ever since the server moved or whatever you guys did to it, I have been getting horrible lag spikes that last a couple min. My concerns on this are this:

 

• why was the server tampered with in the first place? it seemed to work just fine.
• FUCK YOU CHILE
• and meow

lol, Panther, i was just thinking same yesterday when the server crashed and i lost my 12300 points and over 133 defrosts...

 

of course its Chillies fault, he left before and i am sure he caused that crash....   so yes: FU CHILLI

The only server we changed was the website server. That has nothing to do with the game servers...

My game crashes regularly on that server lately, i know Pinglo reported that there was a massive problem with lag early this morning, but apart from my game crashing the lag was ok for me today.

well it seems to me since the mass pb bans it when i noticed the bigger lag on this server

I'm getting massive lag spikes as i speak right now in this server. Map is Psycho.

i chalk this up to new punkbuster signatures....as i said in another post....p.b hasn't had an update to cod4 since 2012 as i checked about a month ago...when i got the aimbot infraction i updated my p.b and it was a sizeable download from p.b update...it will probably settle down in a week or so..but i don't notice any lag issues in any of the servers since the update...before i would get lag spikes....basically i had outdated p.b signatures i guess....good luck gang...maybe updating punk buster might do something positive for a change

Its happening to me.  I am either ci-ing every freakin 2 mins or I am like moving in slow motion.

I've seen a few mention it, and I asked them to post.  I've seen a couple of instances of long CI's and HLSW shows constant spikes.  Question is, could it be all the new maps or something else?

Well i have been mainly blaming my ISP for the lag, higher pings, CI's and the massive lag spikes in my console in the afternoons when i play over the last few months,  but now seeing and hearing others are having the same problems, it has now got me scratching my head, i still think some of it is down to my ISP because i know they are doing work but if the same things are happening to others then there must be something else going on too.

i had that problems two days ago, first laggin and getting big cis, then in another map moving in slow motion, not able to run or go normal, which went back to nomal after i typed it in game...

HLSW showed big CIs for me on the server, but i know no one else had that probs at the same time, cause i asked in game

we restarted the router and everything was normal again. annoying and strange...  didnt have any probs since then.... (knocking on wood )

Kicked by punkbuster today for 24 hrs (1440 mins to be precise) for having a high ping of 315 which is only just over the limit of 300. It does get greater than that at times but has never been an issue since I started on the server in  

Oct 12. I have updated punkbuster and will see what happens tomorrow after serving my suspension. 

It will be a great shame if I cannot play as it has been most enjoyable to date.

Warthog try this to get your ping down by possibly 40 points, go into your console and type /cl_maxpackets 100, many of us have done this and it worked, my ping was originally around 150 on this server, this got it down to 120 but because the way the server is at the moment it still hovers around 150 a lot of the time but without the maxpackets change it would be 180, once you have entered that into the console it should stay in there without you changing it again but just check if you think your ping has gone up again because there is a possibility it could have reverted back to the old value.

then its either a mod issue or the pb update causing it...most maps on rotation wasnt a problem b4...

Related to the lag:

 

Map: MTL_Havoc - super laggy, adds 10-15 percent to pings

 

Also PaveLo kicks for Tag_Player no bones error.
