When he played in my old clan he did not use a tainted .cfg file as we ran pb on all our servers.

I know the extent of what is capable as far as modding configs lol.

@Angelz You do know that he was banned from competition for hacking in Painkiller don't ya? lol   

 

I played with him in his Quake 3 and CSS days and he definitely used modded configs for CSS. Last time I played with him was in a scrim VS a group out of Sweden.

Professional league of anything always has people trying to get any possible advantage because there's their career, money and reputation on the line and they care kore about those than about being honest with themselves, performance enhancers in physical sports, hacks in esports etc.

Im my opinion, cheating defeats the entire purpose of participating in a competition and faking improvement prevents actual improvement... What's the point if there is no real challenge?

Some people don't know how to have fun and think it means winning and beating everyone else so they either look for cheats to do that, or just constantly complain like most of my team did in one game yesterday against @Sharpe haha

I think the really unhelpful part is the fact that half of players think scroll wheeling isn't allowed and the other half think it is.

Can we just get a definitive answer right here from the Head/Senior Admins? That'd clear a lot up

Yeah well all admins have already been online and read my ban appeal yet no one replied to it...
I barely said anything in that match, my voice chat was muted, gave some intel on enemy locations, asked Drimp why he decided to sit in my face when I'm trying to kill a sniper and that's it, so I don't see how there could be a good reason with any proof of anything and therefore no one replied yet with "I banned you for X because you did/said Y, here's proof".
What I did see is some players on the enemy team whining every time I killed them, like Timmah. I Didn't reply to any of them, just kept playing normally, then a few minutes into next map I suddenly get banned out of the blue.

Yes, I must have self-esteem issues.  Let's advance your original implication - that I am dumb because I must not have known that I can turn off voice chat in the game, or that I am not dumb, just - I dunno - obtuse or something - because I might have used the term "without sound" to mean something it doesn't.  So your original implication is that I am ignorant/dumb and also incapable of communicating effectively.
