Interred my father at Arlington today with full military honors. He was a United States Army vet who served during the Korean War. The Old Guard is something to behold and honor ... and I thank them for honoring our veterans.

Hiya all! So we have a new website but what we are lacking is a new banner to go with it. The current one really doesn't suite it at all. So What I am looking for is people to have a stab at creating a new set of banners which we can then hold a vote on to choose our new one. The basics are: Width: 240 to 260 px Height: 60px There also needs to be a version that is at least 200px by 200px that follows the same styling, this one can have a bit more to it though. I look forward to seeing your logo ideas! Thanks,

I recommend going to the NFO forums. Lots of info there on how to get it going use their browser interface. In short, once you have your mod in the mods folder with all the proper files and configs, the web server control pretty has all the options you need. Would be best to run a server at home to make sure everything is the way you want it and all the settings are correct then upload them. To do that make a shortcut to the _mp game exe and in the shortcut 'target' box put this if you just want to start up a local host for testing things out. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" iw3mp.exe +set fs_game mods/yourmod +set sv_punkbuster 0 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate You dont need to set PB to 0 but since you dont need it at home best to just leave it off. Keeping this shortcut is also a good way to test maps so make sure they work the way you want.

you are so funny rambos.. i said the game would turn to shit if they did not fix the 20 player start ..and look we have all the admins in the world that can't even do a thing .and have not been able too in over 5 months .and now dice is trying all this junk to get people to join the game .but that wont work the game is over before it was 6 months old what a shame ..BUT IT LOOKS GOOD .. but you can't play with out waiting for 2 hours to get a server started ..so what will be next for the battlefield team wait till BF5 comes out to see how f/ up it is ..still play BF4 it works and to me is still fun ..

Hey all and thank you for letting me post here on XI... A little bit about me. I live in Maryland (CANT WAIT TO GET THE HELL OUT OF THIS STATE) I'm 46 and retired although I'm told by my wife that I am not. I do help her run her business so that takes up some time. However when I have some free time I love to jump on the XI server and get down with some COD World at War. Ive always enjoyed playing on the XI servers and come to think of it that's pretty much the only one I go to. Ones that I have been on before seem to take issue with the screen name. Bunch of tight asses! Some of my hobbies are riding my SV650S on nice days on the back roads, Hanging out with the aforementioned wife and our dog Buddy, taking care of my little 6 acres I like to refer to as "Robins nest" (any fellow magnum PI fans out there?) helping my friend out with his farm (get to drive BIG tractors) to learning all the ins and outs of my new black powder pistol. Just to name a few. I Luvs me some cold beer! Speaking of which I also enjoy when beers sneaks up on me and stabs me in the back and I shart myself a little each time! Thanks beers! Same as before Laz do not use autorun but rather go to the setup in the drive and run as admin with xp pack3 mode Install game then run patch 1.3 make sure to turn off any antivirus and your firewall 1st too Once you have the install complete you will need to change your hunkmegs to 512 and can be found in your 28 folder once you have downloaded our mod Should be Seta com hunk megs "160" but change 160 "default" to 512 and save... In saying all this make sure to have a headset plugged in the headphone jack not usb and you may have to open your audio and set your sound to realtek REPORT BACK If you should need any other help let me know I have Macdaddy with a problem as well his is crashing and then he has to reboot to get back to desktop

So after trying to play newer games on my old gaming laptop (2014 MSI GT70, gtx770m), and finding them borderline unplayable (20fps mid settings) I decided to go all out and build my first desktop gaming pc. luckily I have a buddy from college who lives nearby and has previous experience with stuff. He built a tentative list of parts for me in my budget and I altered a few things here and there. Everything has arrived safely via FedEx and I'm just waiting till Thursday for my buddy to come over and help me build it. I'll post pics once completed. So on to the parts list! First off everything is going to be seated in a Corsair Carbide 400C ATX Mid Tower Case. It has a hinged smoke window on one side for easy access and viewing. My power supply is a EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80. Plenty of additional power ports for upgrades down the line. My motherboard is a Asus STRIX Z270-E GAMING. It is the top end Strix mobo, but not as crazy as some. For now I'll be running 16GB of Corsair Vengance ram (8GBx2 DDR4). Processor is an Intel i7 6700K 4.0GHz. To cool that down I have a Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler. The graphics card I chose is a MSI GTX 1080 Duke 8GB OC. It comes over clocked from the factory and has three cooling fans. The thing is huge, about the length of my forearm. (There was a sale and the Duke was actually cheaper than a standard MSI 1080) Storage is going to be handled by a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD and a Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM HDD. My case has three SSD slots so I'll probably pick up a 500GB or 1TB SSD down the line. FInally I'll get to see everything through an Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz monitor. What do you all think of the build?

Looks like the Aussies have the same daily issues we drivers in the states have. I drive the I-5 corridor between San Francisco and Seattle every week, and with all of the millions of people who live along that route, I see a lot of shit on a daily basis. The most fun I had last week was watching the California Highway patrol shut down a busy highway during rush hour and chasing a horse and a mule all over the place.

Some of those who turned into the ditch had no choice. I drive big rigs for a living and some of those accidents more than likely flattened the front tires, and when that happens the truck immediately pulls hard in the direction of the flat tire. I've had a steer tire blow out and I can assure you that it takes a lot of muscle to keep the truck going straight.

Hey racefan. The rotation is just a list of maps, no number or set for any given day of the week. Maps play out for the full set time limit whether there are players in or not and as well we are limited to the number of maps that can be in a rotation so it really is hit and miss to which maps you may play each night. And as @AthenA noted, that length of time for the total rotation will change as the time played changes. As @Hunter, I change the rotation every saturday morning (the odd time sunday if I am really busy). Cheers and appreciate your interest.

So.. this is the replacement bike i got after i was run over last summer, and i have had a lot of work done to it, including 14" Yaffe bars, engine work, new daymaker leadlights, a 360 LED accent light kit, Rockford Fosgate speakers and amp, one touch side bags, new rims, tires, etc.. hopefully things will pan out and i will get to show this beauty off at the fest in Niagra this year.

I think the real test of overconfidence in your own abilities and strength must go to Afghanistan, not one of the invaders has managed as far as I know, both in ancient and modern history, just watched Restreppo, a very sobering experience and a reminder of limitations politicians fail to grasp, look how many nations it's taking to defeat Islamic State. We may be the biggest, we may have the best technology but that does not guarantee you'll win, we tend to believe our own 'hype'. If you get the chance, talk to someone who's actually been in a recent war zone and fought, I have recently and it's a very different perspective to what we are told. As Beers said a bunch of farmers, who could shoot, almost defeated the best army in the world, we needed to invent concentration camps to demoralise them. America had Vietnam, we had Northern ireland both recent, neither of us won there did we, albeit for differing reasons but we lost, we have great troops but politicians stifle them, and are even jailing them for killing people (true). The ultimate farce was surely during the Northern Irish troubles when armed soldiers on duty at army barracks were not issued bullets for their guns, with inevitable consequences, let us hope the person issuing those orders sleeps soundly eh? They should be hung for treason. America and the UK have fought together for over 100 years, in our news today we have reaffirmed our commitment to this and abandoned Europe. Your new President very astutely has realised that Europe depends on us for defence but does not pay the cost, especially Germany, since the Second World War the States and UK have maintained the biggest armies and paid for them to be stationed in Europe against a Russian invasion, who are the fools - we are?
