I am a 4th year computer science student studying in Ireland. If i am not at college, i am on my pc playing games. I enjoy reading books mainly about witches or vampires. I also like reptiles, and own 3 snakes and a bearded dragon. they are my babies I love to make new friends in the games i play and have taken a liking to the XI community from my current time playing cod:waw ! I appreciate the members and admins i have played with for being so kind.

@EastCoast50 I watch a lot of documentaries in snakes and other reptiles, maybe one day I'll see yours! I sure do envy you though, that sounds like an exciting adventure and I hope I can see it some day. Id love to see that rattlesnake den holy crap. I plan on some light traveling after I graduate, so maybe I will pass through and get the grand tour

Where I live, there are over two dozen species and sub-species, including two venomous (which are the main ones I study in the field). My friend and I have been hiking and driving through the mountains for over three years now seeking and recording our encounters for a short documentary. Snakes are very misunderstood, and they're a much needed natural predator. The environment and our health depends on it. If your travels ever end up way out here, I'd be happy to introduce you to a living, thriving rattlesnake den in the mountains. It's amazing to see so many different species and sub-species of snakes living together.

To avoid the 999 in game you would need to shut the pc down, count to 60 seconds and restart the pc. Freezing up and a black screen changes how peeps are going to try to help. Thanks for letting us know this. Is there anything else? Does this only happen when you are playing cod4? If your pc is on for a while does it freeze up, get a black screen and restart?

Hi VHS2, I will d/l this program when I get home from work. I hope it helps as well in finding out how to resolve my problem. Like I stated above, my PC does not crash, it stays on the whole time, the game freezes up, then a black screen, then it restarts again for me to log into my pc but the computer never goes down.....Thanks so much for your input! In theory I understand but I still can't make technical sense of how it would make them teleport around. /com_maxFPS 250 - this was decided to be fair value for FPS and running a smooth game /cl_maxpackets 100 - all modern PCs can handle the high packet rate, this ensures you're sending all the data, that your game can send, to the server /cg_fov 80 - with UHD and QHD monitors you should really use this /snaps 30 - send more bitmaps to the server Ten years ago you needed to tinker around with undesired graphics effects to get smoother game in multiplayer and singleplayer, modern GPUs can give you 250+ without any need for turning down graphics settings. I have a GTX 1070Ti and ever since I got this, the above four are all I need to do, everything else is max. @dadda2 when they made this game, there were many things they overlooked at the time. To run it smoother you had to do "stuff". They fixed those shortcomings one by one in later franchise releases. PunkBuster used to weed out the intentional offenders, who meant to exploit FPS, or graphics settings for seeking unfair advantage. I think what Sammy has done with resetting the graphics on each round levels the field though who mean to play unfair will have keybinds to get around it.

How long does it take to crash usually? Still think its worth trying to hook it up to your Tv and see if its the monitor itself, or maybe try and borrow a monitor/tv from a friend for a night to test out?

Of course the first brew wont be perfect, Im not beating myself up. The beer is still drinkable which is why i dont think its infected. My friend didnt try it yet cause she wanted to share it with her friend and said she would call me after she did. I really think the problem is that i just let it get too hot. Not a hard thing to do in Florida. Im just using extract kits at the moment. Dont have the money right now to make an all grain set up. Plan doing so in the future though.

Hey! U can also install Whocrashed (freeware for the basic version) and launch an analysis when restarting after a crash. It will say if it is a pb of driver (and which one hopefully) or a hardware pb as a faulty ram. Let us know ?

Don't know if you've considered it, but am strongly suggesting you don't. Try to look at the positive things and people around you. We are our own worst enemies, you know. If this is only happening after gaming for a while may just be getting hot. Try taking side door off to get more air and check that cpu and video card cooling is not blocked or just dusty. Dust in cooling is like car low on oil lol. If it isn,t cooling problem next guess would be a strip of ram going bad or video card. Good luck !!
