We got soaking wet on Saturday riding, but Sunday was a nice day!!!! You have to love the Florida weather!!!

Sure, being a good leader is important. As is any other position in a company or team. Getting a job, maintaining a secure position, being promoted; it's all up to the potential employee to bring a skill set that an organization will value. And to build upon it. A good attitude should be a given, regardless of the nature of the job. Yet there are many I've encountered over the years in many positions that bring their negative attitudes or problems to work with them & toxify the work environment. I just tell people, if the manager hasn't after some time that we're here to do a job, not listen to them complain or have them slack. At the very least, they then avoid dumping around me.

@Timmah! I agree with you and I don't. I agree that people are always their own person. You wake up and you decide how you want your day to be. If you're gonna be happy....sad....bitter it's all about you. Same goes with your work. However, I think if you are working as a team or with a team you should build eachother up. Bosses, supervisors ect. I don't mean you have to baby people because that's not going to help. If you have a bad manager, boss, supervisor then employees aren't going to succeed. No one wants to come to a workplace that they despise. If you have a good leader and one that you can rely on for to guide you correctly then bam. You have employees who want to make you happy and want to thrive. And I know theres also a point where if you have to keep repeating yourself then unfortunately....ya you are going to have to say okay enough is enough. I also think Angus nailed some of it on the head too. There are so many grey areas sometimes in being a manager and being an employee. I also think this generation lacks the "I need to work" attitude, and some of us don't put up with that.

Hi Everyone, I game on the Insurgency servers every day between 4.00 and 6.00 pm eastern standard time. Sometimes I game in the morning if there is anyone on the servers. I was born in Ireland but immigrated to Canada and am now a proud Canuk. I am surprised by the diverse range of folks from different countries on the Insurgency servers and I must say I met many great gamer's that waste me on a regular basis. lol. We have lots of fun and the gamer's are awsome. I wont mention names cause I love them all and I don't want them to get jealous. ?The admins are amazing and I suck up to them as much as I can as all Insurgency gamer's should. Overall I'm pretty boring and don't do much at all except game, golf, watch movies, drink, (gave up smoking) run, walk, do some resistance training, eat pizza, chinese, indian, jamican we have the whole world living here in Toronto so you can get any food from any country delivered by Uber. Hope to see you later in my sights. Eh!

Just wanted to share my view from dinner last night. Some times you just have to sit back and realize what you actually have!!!

Thanks to all the folks in the freeze tag server for kicking my ass daily, all while having a dam good time doing so. I have to admit it has become my game of choice due to the team work aspect of instead of the free for all game play.

Gulf County scallop season opened this past Saturday! And well, damn if they are not just delicious! Sweet bay scallops OMG! very simple, a stick of lightly salted butter, an awesome little smacking of fresh crushed garlic, 1 fine diced jalapeno, 1/2 of a yellow onion....sauteed for just a few seconds 20 maybe..... add some white wine and some black fish seasoning and serve over angel hair pasta! also a salad with spicy Italian dressing, DAMNIT MAN! it's WELL WORTH all the pain staking crap to get to the end!

It's my view that it is an employee's responsibility to have an attitude conducive to the success of their assigned task(s). It's not the employer's job to help them feel better about the job and have a better attitude. That goes from washing dishes, to stacking bourbon barrels, to landscaping, roofing, nursing, delivering pizzas... anything. If a person is immature, impatient, lazy, unmotivated, introverted, unfocused... whatever the issue may be, the onus is upon them to improve. Especially if they're unwilling to take help and advice, then they should be fired.

So Cobryis, some of us still know him and have known him when e was 14/15 years old. And got to know him by the Crysis game. But anyways,.... He asked me to pick parts for him and he hired me. Even though, I do that for free. I love to help. I already have his CPU, a Intel i7-9700k and his motherboard came in today. I have been a member since January 2019 and have enjoyed playing with your members and community. I am retired and I am enjoying more free time with friends and family. I find it exciting to play with people from around the world and heartened to see how well they play together when they have a common cause. I have met many people who just enjoy getting together and having fun. I don't know why so many enjoy killing me! lol. we were in 4 to 5 foot of water so there was a lot of diving to get them all. of course big bother was there WATCHING EVERYBODY, it's sad they have to but people just won't be honest. we had a great time, it was only our second outing since the wife started fighting breast cancer and then the hurricane hit us, BAH, btw she's winning that FIGHT! her port is coming out next month

When I was a boss I used to say to them all leave home at home and work at work. You are to be completely focused on your job when you are at work. No distractions. I gave them 2 weeks to learn their job role or they were gone. I made it quite clear from the interview that I was boss and they worked for me. We were not going to be friends. I would be there for them in times of crisis or if an injury happened at work. I do understand things happen in real life to people. When my employees came to tell me I listened. I was sympathetic when it called for it. I made sure they were ok and I watched them to make sure they were. I also had incentives for my employees that they earned every 2 weeks on pay day. Dinner for 2's, movie nights for 2 etc. That worked great. Never had a problem getting the work done by any of them. I have ever only fired 1 employee in my life and that was when I was only a manager. 3 hours after I came back after maternity leave I walked right up to him and said your fired, go home.
