Double edged sword. How many would still go to work knowing they were sick instead of taking a week off? Long time past history, including our own personal histories, show that we often do go to work sick. Simply because we have bills to pay, or businesses to run, and cant afford not to. Especially those barely making ends meet and there are a lot of people that fit that mold. I am sure all of us at some point in our lives have gotten sick from co-workers. This also doesnt include the fact that business tends to push back hard on things like sick leave. If you arent in the hospital bleeding to death, you go to work. I suspect that part might change in the future due to public opinion and self protection. I also would say a lot of this is media inspired panic as well as a lack of good political leadership. This is a significant but highly manageable health crisis not the end of days. *IF* everybody does their part. There are also a shitload of arrogant and selfish people that wont even take basic precautions either for themselves or others. At this point in time, just as a matter of a little self protection and common courtesy towards others, why wouldnt anyone simply wear a basic mask when going shopping? Kinda funny on that one. Last week someone wore a mask that looked like it was out of some kind of weird sex cult. Should have taken a picture.2 points

I've been playing with you enough lately, figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself. My serious PC gaming days started way back with Ultima I (grew up in the same neighborhood with Garriott). However. it all started with a Sear's branded game of pong. Fast-forward 40-something years and here we are today. In semi-recent history, I've been playing COD4 on and off since it was released. Played a few others, but always end up back here. Personally, I've been married for 27+ years and now that the kid closing out college (once they are allowed to go back, that is), the wife travels with me for work when the location is somewhere she thinks would be joyous. To narrow that down, if a Disney location is nearby, she is going with me. See you out there! --Cerb1 point

Ok, many if not all by now know of my obsession with the Canadian rock band Monster Truck. I have seen them play live 30 times now, I have played ONSTAGE with them for a song once. I am in one of their music videos. Backstage with them all the time, hang out usually once a week with the lead singer. I am the ultimate fanboy when it comes to this band! I have multiple signed albums, posters, jackets, shirts and all that. Well, yesterday I acquired the holy grail!!! I caught wind that the lead guitarist was thinking on selling one of his guitars, a 1972 Gibson SG Deluxe that he never uses any more , it is red and he since has changed to only Yellow guitars (yes I have 2 yellow guitars same as his as well LOL) he used it for over 90% of the recordings on their best selling album Furiosity. Shot him a text and we got to talking it all over, he gave me an AMAZING deal on it as I am pretty much the 5th member of the band LOL, he sold it to me with 2 stipulations, 1.... I don't sell it.... 2.... IF the band gets huge in the next few years he buys it back from me, at over 3 times what I paid him for it AND he will give me a different guitar... SOLD!!!! So now I am the proud owner of some of the bands history!!!!!! He even signed the back of the headstock for me. The guitar is beat up, used, well played, has traveled the world, and is now mine!!!!!1 point

Dig it out !!! Sliding switches. Fender Mustang, or many Teisco, Guyotone, and Ibanez guitars from that era utilized sliding switches.1 point

I'll look at the 32-bit, should have been Any-CPU. It has never run cross-platform, this update is just to get it working with the new version of the portal as above. Thanks1 point -
I'll seriously start packing tonight ?1 point

There are some nice Guatemalan beans that are a solid, well-rounded robust coffee. On a lighter side would be your Ethiopian Yirgacheff & Sidamo. The Yirg has a light flavor, with faint citrus undertones. If it's wet processed, it can even have a mild blueberry scent & finishing note. Sulawisi is another great coffee. Kona from Hawaii, of course, is another. Blue Mountain is a nice coffee from Jamaica. There's so many with and abundance of flavor profiles, whose nuances can be elicited by specific roasting profiles. All depends on what you like. Join a group like Green Coffee Buyer's Club, and you will be able to sample beans literally from around the world, as they come into season. All at about the same price you would buy generic Arabica beans from the store or a shop as they come into season. It's a great experience, hobby, & journey that will open up what you know coffees to be. Plus, you can make even more friends in the community. (This aforementioned group chips in to buy a coffee in which sufficient numbers of members have an interest; they then buy whole bags & split them among the members that decided they wanted in on that particular coffee. Dedicated buying threads are made for each coffee, giving people the opportunity to buy in on the purchase) LInk: https://greencoffeebuyingclub.com/ These are green beans. You either have to find someone to roast them for you, or you can learn the fun art of roasting your own. Doesn't take more than your conventional oven; although it's worth the time to buy an air popper like The Poppery & roast your own cheaply, accurately & efficiently. Learning about the different roasts, soft crack, hard crack, & other details will enable you to experience different flavor profiles from even the same bean. A good quality conical-grinder will be a must, too. It's a fun hobby.1 point

Are we surprised by this? Look at Chernobyl 35 years ago. The Russian government didn't admit to this disaster for some time, and even then there was no way to hide radiation fallout spread all over the continent. People hiding the truth goes back to when we played with rocks.1 point -

Ah yes, natural selection how I have missed you. Yes, the financial and economic affects of this virus are felt worldwide. We're all fed up of being stuck in our homes, not being able to work and do what we enjoy. But give thanks for those working on the front-line day in and day out to keep the rest of us alive and well. I hate not being at work, it's driving me completely mad. I can't see my loved ones such as my mother, brother, nephew and my girlfriend. But, I accept that this is the best course to try and plateau the infection. If these sorts people wanna go outside and protest and risk catching and spreading the infection, on their head be it. If they get sick, that's their fault really. All it takes is one person to catch it in a crowd.1 point -
Get people back to work. Protest!! That's another civil liberty they are trying to take away from the american people!1 point
