Strafe jumping video for clarification

It gives a speed boost and allows farther jumps. It isnt an intentional component of the game and it can be used to gain an unfair advantage and allows players to jump to places they wouldn't normally be able to.

Also nonsense imo that its illegal, its a combination of keys made by the game devs....whats illegal about that

It's allowed, as long as it's not being used to get to weird places on the map.

It gives you an unfair speed advantage, makes you jump alot further and makes you much harder to hit. Pretty sure that's considered Unsportsmanlike Conduct by it's very definition. We are more like a Gaming Community and not a Competitive Gaming clan.

Rapid Fire binds and Pro Mod Configs and Jump Mod binds all give an unfair advantage to everyone else playing on the servers. And crap like that tends to piss people off and empties the servers. 

 

Just play the damned game. If ya can't play without some sort bullshit cheat or modded config or fancy binds to get an advantage maybe you should find another server or game to play.

Strafe jumping is NOT allowed at all, I understand that the original rule was worded that way so that it could be easily proven that someone has Strafe jumped to a place that a standard jump would not reach.

But the fact is Strafe jumping is NOT permitted in any form on our servers.

And as you can see in the video that @Blazehas posted it is pretty obvious when people are doing it

It's less obvious with more experienced players and people running a macro as the telltale flick is less noticeable.
