As I and afew of us from accross the pond dont play when there are any ADMINS in or playing due to the time difference I had no information, no discussion never even heard the point mentioned. I am in total agreement with DEEREJON.......if bunny hoping anoys you too much then maybe it could be put in the server rules and enforced by ADMINS. The biggest bunny that I have ever seen is JINXMASTER who takes it to a whole new level and I can see his style upsetting many players so maybe just making him use the no jump server would be good..lol Anyways I am glad that DEEREJON posted on this because I think alittle more discussion with some regulars would have been appreciated . Some times I will drop and shoot when attacked. Is that next ? I do from time to time see people who bounce like bunnies and I think thats where this is aimed. I dont play freeze tag much (maybe 20 minutes in 3 years) , I spend most of my time in DM servers (cod2 and waw) and I hope like hell the server doesnt get modded to not allow jumps. To be able to jump through or over something and shoot is added fun !!! Hell in Unreal Tournament one can "double tap" the move left and right and jump extra far !!! Thats what we need !!!! Anyway, dont limit types of play, next it would be camping, then grenades, then no running !!!! I was at another server and you had to crouch !! No running and no standing !!! WTF !!! And, I personally think the ones that do the "true" bunny hopping are fun to shoot !!! Like true hunting !!!! I can still jump and thaw people. Myself, I play in these servers because of the people who play in them. I dont believe this change was made to upset anyone, the admins are just trying to make things more enjoyable for everyone and I ,for one, appreciate it. I played a bit in both servers tonight, enjoyed both equally and I am glad they left both servers open so we do have the choice of which to play. They could change it to crawling on your stomach/knife only and I would still be in there every night because of the comraderie. These servers are awesome and so are the people, both members and non members, who play in them. I don't like bunny hoppers... or mother fn spawn campers... or sniper beeches. Get killed by them all time to time. But mostly don't like hoppers. However, I will admit to hopping with a hopper if it means kill or be killed or camp the camper or sneak up on the sniper. It's all game play and meant to be fun but frustrating at times so some peeps get a little loud with frustration including myself, but just have to remember it's a game. With that said, as much as I don't like hopping, the pros of having it I think outweigh the cons of not having it, ie. being able to shoot while jumping out of a ditch or through a window and thaw when at times certain areas of a map you need to hop (more than twice) so I think it needs to stay. The one we tested last night was perfect for it. Smaller map lol suits it well now since no one plays it...okay that was mean.. but from what I've seen and I check hlws all the time during the day and night to make sure the servers are up and running.
