Second slideshow is very different,probably the most traumatic experience in all my travels.It is from the Auschwitz/Birkenau concentration and extermination camp which is about 40 miles from Krakow.I'm not mystic in any ways but in this place you realy feel like 'something' bad jump on your back as soon as you see the gates.1 300 000 people were exterminated there, mostly jews and most of them died in the gas chambers but not only..many died from deseases,bad treatements,starvation or were shot by nazi's officer just for fun.There is a pic i didn't take as it was forbiden due to respect for the victims...there's a room full of women's hairs ( russian army found 1.7 ton of hairs when they liberated the camp ) Nazi's were shaving womens after they kill them to make pilows and blankets...This place is hell . http://photo.opusfocus.fr/albums/6f83892e6b84478aac8c517154cce42f/slideshow/ http://photo.opusfocus.fr/albums/df0896e11137456c8b448510a8d1ce86/slideshow/ google, JohnnyQuest, Tball and 6 others 9 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... The fact that people actually planned the extermination of a certain people boggles my mind. This is not the only time this has happened... but thank God we had the sense to intervene in more modern genocide attempts. I think of Rawanda, and of Serbia. The German people are not alone in their dark history... many many nations have similar ghosts in their closets. Il voulaient tous la meme chose : etre les maitre de l europe et faire une europe de dictature . Mais au final les européen ont fait l europe ... A croire que tout le monde a toujours voulu l europe...... L europe est un gage de paix dans le monde t en que les habitants qui la compose accepte de vivre avec leur différence ..... Ma seule peur est que les démon de l europe revienne un jour et que les nations s entre tue pour redevenir indépendante ......On vois bien que des pay comme l angleterre qui est une composante majeure de l europe , reste en arriére et prenne des distance avec celle çi .
