mp_arbor iBoomBoom's game play hack proof!

I accidentally hit the record key in the middle of the game and didn't realize it until the end of the map. Special thanks to @@KillerKitty (my team) and PNUS (Op) for the defrosts, without defrosting teammates the game would become very very slow. Rush maps like these morph in to 3 classes of players, #1 Hard hitters #2 dis-tractors #3 defrosters. 

 

 

Display Setup:

I felt it might be appropriate to mention this information. I have a 32" Samsung S32D850T AMVA Panel. It has deeper blacks than IPS and TN Panel, therefore I can see richer colors in games. In dark maps this becomes particularly useful. I don't have to push the gamma settings in the game and still have great visibility. Most monitors are TN Panel and only support 16.7million colors, which is plenty, but for shades of dark colors doesn't differentiate as well. 

 

ALERT (RANT):

 

You may notice Kawkasa's whining that sorta disturbed my focus but I regained it after dying a few times. I plan on setting up a keybind for disabling text chat to do away with the pesky whiners.

For those who say they don't care about stats and play for fun, yes I know - we all do. You only care when you do well, when you don't its just a game. If you didn't care, you wouldn't be hitting the tab key.

Yeah I was in game on the opposite team, people don't realise that people like us rush and get behind them. So much so that I intentionally have 3 kill streaks that give me spawn protection after use to get me into the enemy spawn.

I heard and read the on screen messages accusing iboomboom of hacking, and they weren't just joking around comments.

The spawn protection was never meant to be used for things like that. I wrote it in because I didnt think it was fair to make players start at the beginning again and it wasnt easy to do.  I dont particularly like that players are using it for this reason because its there for defense so you dont get shot without a chance to react.  It will be up to all the server admins if they want to deal with this because 1.46 you can stack the streaks and it might make this more of a problem requiring some kind of attention.

I have an AMD graphics card, I use the Raptr software that comes with AMD Gaming Evolved suite. I was on Teamspeak and accidentally hit record near the last round when I meant to hit my Push to talk.

Edit: Tried using /com_maxfps 250 and it works for like until I get frozen, upon respawn the FPS O-meter says im back at 125....WTF?

depends on how well I am doing during a game, don't always do well.

Not sure why, you can modify it in your config_mp.cfg file as well  [ seta com_maxfps "250" ] in your config file.

I guess ill give my 2 cents worth. First off I don't think you hack and second if you did , It wouldn't really matter.. What can ,could , and will be done about it?? nothing.. Hackers have invaded this server for a while now. Which leads me to my reason for being here. You made a comment about those that complain about stats and such do so when there game goes bad and don't when their game is good. Yeah i like to do good and have good round once in a while. But for me and I think the majority of the clan, playing with peeps that make them laugh , give good Intel and just make the game worth getting on is why were here.. I could careless if i loose every game as long as i had fun doing it. That being said There is a large list people that that truly take that away, They come in and have a score that is 4 times the kill and a 1/4 the deaths of the next person to them. They take away the fun in the server and all people do is hate it and bitch about it. If your that good go play some other hardcore servers or something else, If i were that good and had to listen to it I would leave if i wasn't wanted....Knowing you don't have at least a fair chance against somebody truly takes the fun out of it.  I have played with some of the best players in the world when i did league play and was never as bad as i am here against some of the players here. Any who I guess i ll end with this. Not intended for you Boom But hack if you must, I sorta get why some do, But can't relate. And if your going to hack, Hell at least make it fun for the rest of the people around you, Don't be a douche bag and arrogant prick like some and just try to make it fun for the rest of us slow fuckers.... )))  Tired and late so if off subject or rambled sorry...

I am not 100% with you there. 

Hackers have not invated the server at all if you ask me. 

 

Me and pete had an hacker in the server yesterday, i record the guy, and when i was done pete banned the guy. End of story, proof given on the forums, no change to come back at all times in any >XI< server. Done deal.! 

 

The problem with this is, is that in over the years there has been a group and i call them the "The smart hackers". People that hack but know what they are doing. They dont shoot trough a wall, run trough a map like you and me shud do, and they even talk in game to let people think nothing is wrong with them... The problem with this kind of hackers is, is that it is pretty hard for an admin to get them on video because they know what they are doing. 

and trust me on my word, i spectate alot, and i am not even an admin, if i could get anyone hacking on video it goes directly to the admins and i am a 10000% sure they will get banned right away. 

 

And beside that, if we dindt had rules like this to record a guy, before we bann them, we had by far now an empty server because if we could ban without proof we shud not had google in our clan or an iboomboom or a goooney. 

Dont we all know how they have been made out for hackers along time before they where admin or >XI< member ??? and alot of us forget things like that.  

 

And that why it is so freaking hard to ban a real hacker. U need the proof, but to get it is maby even harder than Anything els.!

Your score was weak tho lol Anyways, in response to some of the posts here about hackers and pricks and whatsoever, i get those negative comments all the time but in reality i really dont care anymore lol People whine about my score being so different from other players so im like umm ok so next map all i do is play with knife and C4 (unchileno favorite style lol) gotta admit its fun! and i enjoy it but even when im running around knifing players im still getting negative comments and so much BS, so what do i do next map i just defrost lol Ive tried many ways to avoid those negative comments but ive learned one thing THEY WILL ALWAYS be there! Its been almost 2 weeks i haven't played anymore, the last time i played i got a lot of BS from angus and other players that i was like ummm ok whatever, so i have avoided playing. But yet i still see other players still being harass with this nonsense, trust me maybe my kills take the fun away but SO those the constant bitching and whining all the time does too..So dont think im the only one taking fun away bcus u are too with constant whining. 

 

But anyways nice video Boom! Ill see you back in game soon!

That is exactly the reason I posted this here, to help you and others who feel the same way get closure. From where I stand, I see that when people cannot fathom the rationale of someone's game play their go to comfort excuse is 'gotta be hacking'. The fact that you use KDR (@DramaLlama) as a determining factor in establishing an opinion for foul play, forgive me, but it is uninformed. Some people are better at doing things than you, some get better by trying and you may hate them for it. However, know this, your hate does equal damage as you claim their being better does to you. You sir, are not helping either being this way. I can explain with cogent reasoning every thing I do in the game, even though I don't need to, if anyone actually cared to know. People form biased opinions and then they stick with them out of ignorance until they know better. I don't think that even if you sat with me when I am having a good day you would still be convinced.

 

My motto in life is not stop trying until I become the best or one of the best in what I want to do. When I started playing here, for one full month I didn't realize I had spawn protection and my KDR used to be 0.5'ish. I learned over time how to play better. I even suspected people of using hacks when I couldn't understand how they were doing, what they were doing. Some of the people that had the most to share were @@GoOney and @@Prinny. They use their mind well to out smart the other players, it's like mind fucking. Once I stopped running around like a moron and using some strategy I started doing well in the game but that's a different discussion altogether. Believe what you must but stop saying I take the fun out for others, because you're guilty of the same thing. The losing team is always butt-hurt there is nothing outstanding about it.

 

I am not that good, I know my limitations but I work around them, not find excuses!

STFU, my score is fine . To be honest after they started engaging me in text chat my focus was derailed. I was averaging 7-10 kills per life and after that I t was like 4-7 per 3-4 lives. On a chaotic rush map like this you can easily go over 150 as long as the other team is great with defrosting. As I mentioned PNUS defrosts like a champ, KillerKitty did a great for our team. So these kinds of KDRs won't be possible if we didn't have good support in both teams.
