When I first came to play on this site it was told to me that is was not an option but a requirement. Now I put it to the admins to make this so as to enhance gaming as while playing cod4 it is required. Constantly we play and to help defrost as well as normal communications these people should have a mics but don't and cause massive aggravation. If someone doesnt have a mic or doesnt want to use one, we aren't going to prevent them from playing on our servers. If we remove players with no mic our population numbers will drop. Then you have to decide if you would rather die every now and again or play with a third of a servers capacity. My own self, I would rather play a full server with some mutes than 5 man teams. It's frustrating yes but you will find that keeping an eye on the chat and watching the mini map for players alerting with "on me!" does alleviate it a bit. I notice the players that do not use a mic will 99% of the time alert you through those other channels, you just need to take the extra effort of watching the map and chat at all times and also where the player is looking when you go to defrost them. If your not too comfortable using your mic to give out information or cant read a compass. . .then don't . . .better to keep quiet than give out bogus Intel.
