I have a problem running COD4 in MP. It runs in single player okay but when I try and start a MP game it quits and I get the error"iw3mp.exe has stopped". I have tried reinstalling Steam and COD4 and installed the PB update mentioned elsewhere. Any Ideas?

I am trying to remember but I think you need to disable the stereo mixer if I am not mistaken? Try disabling anything that your not using for sound. that's what worked for me.... Awards

Strange but worked for me. Also I sure there is a mixer fix as well but never tried it. Awards

If it works plugging your headphones into the front port, go into the settings and disable automatic front audio port detection so the proper drivers are always loaded. NITRO 1 Awards

Much better sound than realtek anyways. edit: If you listen to lots music or need decent headphone sound these work well. Also if you dont use external speakers. I have the asus one myself. Many consider SB better than Asus because it is a more modern card with newer components and better software.
