I have now hit the Hunk memory error on mp_dawgy and still cannot find the cfg file to edit so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful.

You can find it here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 2\29\players

OR

C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 2\29\players

 

You need to open the config_mp.cfg and find "seta hunkmegs" and change it to 512, save and you'll be good to go.

Okay that is very strange because after connecting to the server it should make a folder called 29 which is the name of the mod. I've not seen that issue before

I tried and I tried to join, but my screen was always or all grey or black (probably a graphic compatibility issue with my new graphic card and Windows 10), though I could see the compass, players and scores. I'll try to find how to fix it and be there the next time for sure !

If you don't see the folder then I would search for the map itself to see where it does put the other copy. Also make sure that the folders show all and are not checked for hidden files. @Crack
