I sent this to Hxtr already but my $.02: Best best may be to try to get into an iCloud account associated with the phone, other than guessing the password it's likely the way to get what you want. Attaching the phone to another computer, hacking the phone, having Apple or the carrier do something for you are all likely non starters.

If she bought the phone she can contact the phone comp and they can give her the info on how to gain enter into the phone.
