The original name was "To the Struggle Against World Terrorism". The Teardrop memorial is an imposing 10-story, Bronze-plated sculpture located in Harbor View Park in Bayonne, New Jersey. It is the work of Russian artist Zurab Tsereteli. It was a gift given on September 11, 2006 from Russia to the U.S. to memorialize victims of terrorism in the U.S. The focal point of the piece, a massive teardrop made of nickel, hangs from the top of the sculpture, suspended between jagged edges that have been carved out of the middle of the piece. Then on the bottom of the sculpture are granite plates bearing etchings of the names of the victims of 9/11 as well as the World Trade Center bombing in 1993. The idea behind the design is to touch on the grand scale of heartache that terrorism causes, while the jagged opening is supposed to frame Manhattan and the site of the twin towers if the viewer is standing in the correct spot. Then in 2011, a piece of steel from the World Trade Center was also placed next to the site. According to wikipedia It was initially given to the local government of Jersey City, but was rejected. It was then relocated to its present placement in Bayonne. The stones on the ground around the statue were purchased for $50.00 by people for memorials. The stones can be seen in the video below:4 points

You gotta love compassionate Christian Seniors A woman had just returned to her home from an evening of church services, when she was startled by an intruder. She caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables and yelled: 'Stop! Acts 2:38 !’ (Repent and be Baptized, in the name of Jesus Christ, so that your sins may beforgiven.) The burglar stopped in his tracks. The woman calmly called the police and explained what she had done. As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar: 'Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you.' 'Scripture?' replied the burglar. "She said she had an Ax and Two 38's!" Send this to someone who needs a laugh today and remember: Knowing scripture may save your life - in more ways than one.2 points

ive always wanted to take handheld electronic games or board games and such to the local childrens hospital cuz most of them are in there through no fault of their own and the parents have to spend so much not just on the medical bills but travel and such to stay near them. i make it through with my kids, barely, and said if i ever get the ability to do so i would. just another option for ya.1 point -

Let’s not forget about the batteries. Very toxic to produce and recycle. Changing one toxin for another People only see the end product during its use and never think of how it is produced or what happens to it after it’s usable life.1 point

No one questions the power of electric motors (or steam), the main disadvantage is supplying a source of energy. Petroleum is compact, easily transfered, and does away with the energy production issue. Storing electricity has been the holy grail for decades. It's getting there, but still not flawless. You have to produce electricity before you store it, and nobody mentions the cost of doing so. Tally up how many btu's of petroleum are consumed daily, then concert that to kilowatt hours. Wow.....1 point -
