Been playing with this a little since it went to Beta for the Mac last October. They just added the PC beta recently and most significantly support for COD4, it's not terrible.

Unless they are TS the mic doesn't matter much unless they are using the perk to hear them. Which hardly anyone does. I didn't add the smack talk is a only effective if you have some game to back it up. Funny thing is he Hawk has a mic but doesn't seem to use it. I should add his is more quantity than quality. I just ignore it anyway.

In a small map with many people using them they can be a pain in the ass. Some people use because their aim sucks others will use them on the appropriate maps with great effectiveness. Some people like Yacster are like a fucking sniper with them. I've seen him hit long shots across a map with decent consistency or hit the wall at the appropriate area for maximum splash damage. You can also area shoot at the beginning of a map to hit common traffic lanes to get some easy early kills. Bob Barker and Ronnie are also examples of people who used them well. The bottom line is that particular mod has many vagina like ways of fragging people with kill streaks etc. If you into a more straight up game play on Server 1.If you post something on here expect some dumb fucking replies at times. If you cry about it and drop your tags over something that dumb then maybe this isn't the clan for you. Keep coming to the server though we still want to shoot at you.

Hi all. Well, after 7 years of membership, I'm finally gonna go to the fest. Yay! I know things are in flux as to where to stay and such, but I want to be proactive so I can save enough $ to go. As many of you know, my finances are extremely tight. As in I'm gonna have to save for months to do this and still not be able to participate in everything. The most important thing to me is meeting y'all in person. So, here are a couple of questions for ya. Firstly, is anyone driving to Nashville? My car won't make it and I can't afford a flight. Rather than take a Greyhound, if anyone is driving I'll pitch in for gas and such if I can catch a ride with you. Amtrak will take me as far as Memphis, or I can drive to meet up with you. Secondly, is anyone willing to share a room? Male or female, I don't mind either way. Just trying to make this affordable so I can go. Hope to hear back from you soon.

We shall see how the spawn protection addition plays out. Might work well. Might need some tweaks. Or it might not work well at all. Only gameplay will tell. Wouldnt be the first time that something just didnt work. As for map compatibility I was careful to keep asset counts the same for those that tended to cause the most headaches. Namely model count and number of materials. But I am still watching. The rocket gun is harder to use than you think. Its damage and blast radius is small. Rate of fire is slow. Doesnt go far before it starts to wander instead of a straightish line. But since this is the first time the mod has used one nothing is set in stone. However for anyone that doesnt like it, it helps to know why. Then things can be adjusted and try again. As for maps that you want that arent in the rotation, tell someone. Maybe they work but just arent there or not in enough rotations. Or maybe they were but there were too many 'this map sucks' people that complained.
