Damn, sorry I missed XI fest, by having to make an emergency trip to Indiana and then to Texas a week later and then Maryland a week after that, but.... All the OT allowed me to pick up 2 beautiful firearms! The fist is a Panzer Arms bullpup 12 gauge shotgun. Came with cleaning kit, sights and 2-5 round magazines. The second is an absolutely beautiful Springfield Armory M1 Garand. (maunfactured January 1943). Hated to miss the fest, but allowed me to obtain 2 fantastic firearms.

My mom has a similar story. But it was her dad going hunting and the shot going off killing my uncle at the age of 5. She got blamed. When people are hurting they tend to hurt other in return. It was tragic enough for both of you. Neither of you deserved that... Everything happens for a reason. What that reason?.. I not longer try and answer them kind of questions. Merry Christmas. Blame the drunk driver posses by his personal demons and forgive him. You will feel better about the situation over time.

I do not have a cat but I do have 3 young grand kids. I told them if they do not touch the tree they can have all the candy canes on it on Christmas Day. So far so good LOL

The kids got a different one lol? Near Christmas Mam and Dad used to wrap up a load of empty boxes and put them near the tree, if I was naughty they'd throw one on the fire.

Hey there BlackRose, Need? Do we really need anything? I purchased these firearms because: 1. To protect my family. 2. To teach my children how to be responsible with and around firearms. 3. My children love to go shooting. 4. I wanted to own a piece of history. (And thinking that my rifle could have been on the battlefield spilling blood!) 5. Holding that Springfield M1 Garand, gives me a whole new respect for the soldiers that carried that rifle into battle. Here is the little 22lr that my girls shoot. Looks like an AR... Nice! An old handgun that comes with memories passed on to you. Definitely something that my potential purchase shall become one day! I'm sure they don't make then as sturdy as the old days tho...that is the problem. Pot metal and plastic bushings (on some, not all).

I never try anything... I just do it.. hahaha...love that part..
