You have to atleast have a Mic plugged in to play COD4 in Multiplayer mode otherwise the game will crash as soon as you load into a server. Go buy a cheap $5-$10 stick Mic untill you have enough to buy something decent. Stay away from the USB and wireless USB microphones. They are nothing but trouble. Here is a cheap Desktop Mic with 3.5mm jack. Most of the feedback on it is 4+ stars on Amazon. Not bad for $12. So, I finally retire at the end of this week. After nearly 30 years on this job, I've had enough. Times, politics and people have changed, and not for the better.
