We have decided to remove Kyniek[PL] from our servers, this was done by discussion with the COD4 admin team. We have had issues with him since November, he was actually banned on November 20th of last year but the ban was lifted because we didn't have enough evidence to make it stick, but since then we've had issues with him glitching, going under maps, possible hacking. If he's not hacking then he needs to be playing with others on his same level and not sit on our servers and ruin our members fun.

Does the !like - !dislike work in the OW server(I don't think so?). Can that be added for awhile to help determine which maps players like the most ?

I suppose it would be convenient to try and say its a specific mod version (that any particular person doesnt like) that is somehow forcing people to go elsewhere. Sorry but this is a natural progression. Every year or two there are 1000 fewer actual cod4 servers even in the list. All clans and their servers are dropping in traffic. XI is not immune. I am actually surprised cod4 has held on as long as it has. In any case, the servers owners and clan leader... and only them... decide on what games and what mods are run. Polls are cute and all, but we all know that polls are bullshit and not to be trusted when it comes to making informed decisions. Unfortunately people tend to praise polls that give them what they want and dismiss those that dont. In the past the old/new dual servers idea was tried a few times. It always ended up that the older version lost and didnt get the traffic. Pretty democratic. Each individual can go where he or she wants.

My gaming goes back to 2008 and i have always been a regular, through all the mods, this statement of yours is not based on facts. I have seen in the years the numbers dropped so hard, but how low the numbers are lately is ridiculous. I notice that with each new mod we lose a lot of regulars (XI members as well as non XI members). This option to put the old mod back is the best decision that ever has been made, it is democratie. If the people that have always played here, are seeing it the way i do, then they will vote how they wish. It is the easiest way for a player to say or think F*** this sh*t, i am out, cya! With this new option it gives these people a way to vent their thoughts.

That's far too easy for this lot, the truth is with most of them is that they won't join a server until it is populated, no waiting for other players for them. The joke is they then join any server they see with players, even if not the one they want to play on, oh no, no waiting around for them, they are special. When we are playing on the DM server and ftag is empty do they wait on ftag for other players, no they join the DM server. You are perfectly right, even though they have what they want on another server they won't populate it, they would rather join the other populated server then whine. Now I like both mods so couldn't give a fuck what I play, but lets suppose the mods are swapped round and the new mod is populated first, will they play on the old mod they voted for? Not really understanding how this would work. Will the server load maps based on number of players in server or you doing it by time of day? And I agree with Athena. There are lots of small maps that are fun to play regardless of player numbers. Crash for example. The maps in general are an issue. Was my understanding that the reason we migrated to OW from Vietnam mod was for different maps and yet in a rotation of say 15 maps in a given week we seldom see any that we didn't play on the regular on the Nam server. Old game, same old tired maps...I get that.

I also agree, but I would add a few medium size maps as it's also nice to play some "smaller" maps with a lot of people sometimes. It makes it very different from when we're only 6 to 10, for example. Although, the opposite is indeed more of a problem; I mean that really big maps with only 6 players will make the players to leave (unless an admin is on to be able to call a vote and switch, of course).

Fortunately that in no way reflects upon the vast majority of policemen who look after you and let you sleep soundly young lady. Perhaps a year in some other parts of the world would alert you to just how good ours are? My hats off to our brave, underpaid and underappreciated police force.

Hello there. I voted for the new mod, but for me, either of them is fine to me. Just have to adapt to it, and have fun with players on it. I have questions though: The old mod is available on another server so why people that want the old mod back don't go on the other server (and populate it) ? Is the other server less good ? (idk: ping ? ci ?, ....). And then so, to retake a question already asked, if the old mod come back on the other server, will the other server get the new mod ? Edit: For those who want to answer this topic, you have to join the club, attop this page. I figure this out after couples minutes of search... haha

Rescind my vote as a non XI member.. I prefer the old mod with better game play & weapons.. It doesn't matter to me.. Rather keep playing on the XI-UTK4 Server without any complaints at all...

So where does the new mod go once everyone votes the old mod back in, is that going on another server at least? I much prefer that over the old one, also not keen on the idea of Sammy's work just being thrown onto the back burner, he busted his ass over this and personally I think he deserves better. You already put the old mod back up onto a server, yet the people who complain about the new mod still flock to it rather than play on the other server, I have no sympathy for these people they just want a reason to whinge imo.

I'm not sure I have an opinion. I like MW2 mod ... a few things bug me, and when certain players come on, I often just leave, but generally the games are good and fun. I hardly remember the original.

Was that the post? They likely saw it as a sexual reference. Male escort equaling male prostitute. If so, a bit of a reach on their part. And thus three days not a permaban. I suppose it also depends on whether or not it was a private post or for everybody. All that said, we will all be better off not to use FB anyways. So take the three days to consider whether or not its actually important. I hope you decide it isnt.

OK here is what I did with help from Sammy Taking the weapon away when you jump is good and bad, its good that it takes it away but when you land its takes way to long to bring the gun back up, so there is an option to change you aim when you jump. This way you keep your gun up and ready, but you can't jump and shoot because your aim point changes when you jump. Give it a try and let me know
