Heya guys. Nice to meet you all in advance. I'm HaxorDJGrim, real name being Josh. I'm 18 and from the small town of Clatskanie, Oregon. Some hobbies of mine are playing video games (kind of a no-shit though considering this place), playing electric guitar (albeit being kind of shit), and making art (which I think I occasionally do well, depending on what I'm attempting to create). I play a lot of Insurgency Source, CSGO, and Rainbow Six Siege. Chances are a few of you may have seen me on the XI servers with a C4/IED in my hands one half of the time while sprinting like a madman to the sites, and the other half with a pistol while trying to dome someone with my shit aim. I hope that I can meet some new people, bullshit with y'all and just have a good time in general here. Perhaps I'll have the privilege to be able to get to know some of the hella good players I often run across in Insurgency and find out more of the awesome community you guys have. With that all being said, I hope you guys have a good day or night or whatever when y'all read this. See y'all around.

As some of you already know I have been in the process of selling the house and moving to the Bay Area. Down scaling a lot, and moving close to family, since a house is just too much and too expensive to maintain for one occupant (yours truly). It is currently in escrow and barring any major issues it closes about the middle of next month. Of course housing prices being what they are condos there can be pricey. But I will own one without a mortgage, which is good. And also being that area prices continually go up for when I sell in the future sometime. After lots of scouting and hunting there is a place I will be putting an offer on. It will be contingent on this one but it gets my name in the hat. I basically have a whole life worth of stuff to decide on whether to keep or not. A lot I already did but there is always more. I wont have a lot of room and I already know I will have to rent a storage place. Hopefully only a small one. More to follow and fingers crossed.

No don't want to do this for all to see, should be members only, all I truly know (honestly) is that two people were arguing, but it seems to have gone completely off the map (no pun intended) and we lost a good admin, simple as that really. I don't care if you tell us or not what happened but if you do I suggest members only, for me leave it, it's over and done with and nothing will change it now.

As one of the new COD5 admins, here is my perspective ... I started playing on XI about three years ago by chance ... just came across one of the servers and started playing. I had so much fun I constantly played on it and stopped looking for other servers. In my opinion, it was --- and still is -- the best COD5 server out there. About a year later, Beers asked if I was interested in joining the XI community. I've never been a member of an online gaming community and absolutely enjoyed playing here, so I said yes. Recently, I was asked if I was interested in becoming a COD5 admin. Frankly, I was kind of shocked. I've never been an admin, but everything -- the process, responsibilities, etc. were explained in detail. I can tell you one thing ... it's NOT an overnight process. I don't know how admins are considered, but it took two or three weeks to go through the process to become one AFTER you're asked. There's A LOT to learn about being an admin (manuals/rules, software downloads, etc.) that isn't exactly easy for an amateur like me. Being an admin has in NO way changed my attitude in the game. The ONLY thing I'm doing now is looking for cheaters/hacks and players that violate the posted server rules. By the way, admins can't just immediately kick or ban a player ... there's a procedure to follow. Also, some admins don't have the authority (or even access) to randomly change maps, re-start servers, etc.. I get that and I agree with it. I'm still on XI playing to have FUN. Many of you know each other in real life. I only know one XI member in real life ... my ex-wife (btw F.U. IceQueenHerb!) ... and I originally pointed her in the direction of XI after becoming a member. Even SHE has met or become real life friends with some XI members, which I think is awesome. We have so many funny, entertaining, interesting, intelligent, honest and intriguing people playing on XI servers -- both XI members and non-XI members. We also have some regular XI and non-XI players that are assholes, but they generally fit the previous categories as well :). I'll stop at this point and say that I have no idea what happens behind the big curtain. I just plan to keep playing on XI and have fun, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.
