New COD4X MW2 Freezetag Defrost Streaks how to use them

A lot of people in testing didn't understand how to use the streaks so here is a visual on what to do. 

2 Keys you need to set, Use Defrost and Cycle Defrost. Cycle defrost doesn't need to be used if you just want to use the first available defrost streak, the cycle key will allow you to move to any streak you have and use it. If you just hit the Use defrost key it will use the first streak you have available.

Ugh why am I still confused. I saw the uav on there last night. So this is something I can use? Because when I used my assigned keys they didn't work.

Did you follow the steps on the first post, if you did try it again tonight when you get on and let me know

I like that defrosting is more rewarding now!

P.S. Don't accidentally bind the left mouse button to the defrost key unless you don't want to shoot anymore. Don't ask me how I know.

Some of us would prefer the old time limit for overtime. It feels too short now.

I fixed that last evening; it wasn't meant to be changed to 30 seconds.  It should be back to 2 minutes now.  Please let me know if it is not.

The overtime limit change was unintentional. Since this was an early launch of newly developed additions to the mod somethings are bound to be amiss.

One thing I've noticed is, it doesn't make a noise when you get defrosted. That was always a good reminder!

Another little suggestion to promote defrosting culture, if it’s doable: at the end of the game, the summary page shows pretty much everything except defrosts. In FTAG, I reckon defrosting is one of the main things and deserves a bit of love too!   

Would be cool to have maybe two lines showing:

• Who defrosted the most

• Who defrosted the least, even if they had a decent number of kills

• And maybe something like K/DEF ratio, similar to K/D

Just an idea if it’s doable, or something for future work. All good otherwise!

I was thinking about the same thing, too. I've also noticed that defrosting does not give as many points as before, which encourages shooting over defrosting teammates. 

The server stats page is also a nice addition. The camping stats are exposing a few people who probably shouldn’t be complaining about campers.

Hey @Ruggerxi, posting something else @Deckard mentioned, so making sure you saw the above as well.

Apparently when you revive someone from last stand, you don't get any points. I think it was like that in the old mod too. Seems a little unfair. 

Mod is looking good. Liking the new max number of players, more chaotic. Thanks!

aswell as bug regarding car, i've had it happen today aswell, went into car, blew up couldn't get weapon automatically out, had to scroll 3 times.
And went into pred (didn't die in between) and pred not showing any tags at all same for triple as, so it was still thinking i was in car spectator mode or something.

Would also be nice to add the K/DEF to the new stats page and put it next to the K/D

I like that new addition too by the way. Lots of great work!

@Ruggerxi @iboomboom I've noticed when I call in a package, there is no icon to tell me (or anyone on my team) what is inside the pack. I have no idea what I am getting and don't know if I should roll it or not. I noticed when I DID roll it, it showed an icon for what the pack contained.

Most of the issues are coming from to many images on the HUD especially when there are a lot of people in the server which is happening because we raised the amount of players, so when the game runs out of HUD elements, it starts to not show them. 

I made a few changes this morning to help with that including removing the rank tracker in the lower left hand of the screen
